Kitchen Magic

Very strange home visit with kitchen magic.... trying to persuade me NOT to have things done that I really wanted to have done. All round very odd and very unprofessional. Samples also looked really naff. Also it's not even THAT much cheaper than getting your whole kitchen done....! Wouldn't reccommend. All very odd. Tried to get me to pay half up front and made me choose the colour of door in the middle of the street from the back of his car!

Fantastic service from start to finish. The rep wasn’t pushy, the fitter was on time, all the way from Birmingham to Devon!! The fitter was excellent and obviously very experienced, he did a great job with very little mess. Absolutely over the moon with my kitchen, thoroughly recommended.

Charlie did a brilliant job of replacing my cupboard doors, drawer fronts, handles, side panels, giving me a new cupboard and drawer set, lovely new sink and inserting a new cooker hood. Delighted with his work and Kitchen Magic were brilliant to deal with so helpful and friendly and kept me informed from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend.

* Shocking customer service* Overpriced* Poor quality productsI could have written a very long review here, but after 3-4 months of battling to get the kitchen sorted out after a shocking fit to begin with, having a large number of issues with the quality of the initial fitting (with some being very serious) I simply cant be bothered spending any more time on this.Now i know someone from the company will possibly put a comment on below either blaming me or trying to water the issue down so ask yourself once questions before proceeding with these people, or indeed anytime you purchase anything from anyone...If you only get offered a 1 year guarantee, does that shout quality product to you??? that is what you get with kitchen magic (also know as the kitchen restoration company)i am happy for anyone to contact me and ill show you the facts so you can make an informed decision but this is a true recollection of my experiences. what a huge mistake i made contacting this company.-------------------------------------------------------------------Edited response by stephen after review from owner...The response from Susan Davies is absolute rubbish!Look at all the recent responses on both reviews of kitchen magic Birmingham and the kitchen respiration company. Too many recent people saying the same things.The pictures i have uploaded are a true representation of the work carried out by this company.If anyone would like to see further correspondence about my dealings with this company or any other images, including the bullying email from the CEO then please contact me.Pictures do not lie... and trust me... your products are no where near as superior as you think. What arrogance to slag off companies who have been trading for years and offer great quality products and put yourself up on a pedestal as if you are the only ones who can offer such products...I feel like I will have another battle on my hands soon when I try to make a legitimate claim on the guarantee which I have no doubt will either be ignored or dismissed by squirming out of it and trying to put the blame on me again.Finally, the worktop was not a true reflection of the sample card and it was disgusting. Looked nothing like it.

Avoid at all cost. I booked an appointment with this company and they agreed a time/day to visit. On the day in question, after receiving calls to confirm the appointment from their central booking team together with SMS reminders, I received a call from the rep. He called me around 14:00 and advised he was in Windsor and was concerned he couldn’t park in London. I advised him there was plenty of on street parking and named the streets he could use. He seemed less than interested but agreed to attend the address. At 17:00 he called again to state his “job” in Windsor was massive and he wouldn’t be leaving for another 15 minutes so couldn’t come. Very predictable. I called their office and they advised they would re-schedule/call back the next day. A week later no communications and no attempt to rebook. Was estimated £3,500 on the phone to replace 8-12 kitchen doors.

Stay clear from this company they ripped my mum and dad off they charged nearly 4 grand for fitting 12 doors that are £35 each from wickes which would of cost maybe with a self employed joiner around £600 with the labour and they have the check to ask for £400 to remove the cardboard packaging with old doors. They prey on old people especially ones that don’t use the internet to check out if the quote is fair . Also the finish was atrocious . the doors don’t line up and one cupboard doesn’t close properly all in all a really cowboy job . Save yourself the misery and find a tradesman from maybe check a trade or my builder if you don’t know anyone you can read customer reviews so you know what your getting

Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star to write a review. I rang this company for them to visit my property. I gave them some dates but they were not passed on. Eventually a date was agreed and guess what - nobody showed up. No phone call nothing. When I rang them I was told that the guy who was coming had Covid. I will never know if that was true or not but I really don’t know why they didn’t ring and tell me. We stayed at home that day, do these people think we have nothing better to do. I wonder if they would treat the “wonderful Debbie McGee” like this????????

Made an order then cancelled after changing our minds after weighing up the cost and not actually getting what was wanted and a local firm could do much cheaper. They took initial deposit then a few days later took another random amount even though it had been verbally cancelled. Rang again told we must use yellow form to cancel and send recorded delivery did all that they claim they've not had this is at least 8 weeks ago, can't get through to a manager of accounts. They now want a letter of cancellation won't accept an email. Trading standards getting informed on Monday might give rougue traders an email. Shocking customer service lord knows what that their after care is like.

I had kitchen magic around to my house about 4 months ago and I couldn't make up my mind. But I'm so glad I did they have transformed my kitchen. It looks like new. From the start the sales rep's were amazing, they explained everything to me in detail and cannot fault them. And to the fitters they arrived with my new kitchen on the day they said and completed everything perfectly. I would highly recommend thank you.

My grandma just had her new kitchen fitted and she was very pleased with the end result. She wanted to say a big thank you to Lukasz who did a great job and she says he needs a Christmas bonus ahah
