Mimosa Nails

Great service, better prices than many others, talented and friendly staff and very clean.Edit, new staff lack proper training, if you are lucky and get one of the veterans, you'll be happy, if is the new ones, really amateur result but same price. Also I suspect they are using regular nail polish but charging as shellac. I've been having shellac for years and it never smells as nail varnish does. In one occasion I noticed the colour wasn't covering as well as gel polish normally does and for days after done it smelled as regular nail polish. I mentioned it to them and they dismissed me very aggressively.

I've been going to Mimosa for almost 4 years and I have nothing but good things to say. I've recently started to get nail design work done on shellac and it's just brilliant! I always get compliments on how good the manicure is and how long it lasts for (up to three weeks). The salon is clean and the massage chairs are a dream. 100% recommend.

Such a lovely nail salon. I had my acrylic nails infilled and 1 nails redone. I love my nails so much. The lady who did mine was so lovely and good. The salon it self looks very clean and tidy. Love the decor and style if the salon.1 down fall is that it was only two people there today and other customers who didn't book in had to wait a while for there treatment.

Have to take back my original 5star review from 10 months ago.I was trying to hold off writing on this bad experience because I kept trying to convince myself that it wasn't that bad. But reality hit today as my full set that's supposed to last 14 days snagged off today after only 8 days... in my 15yrs of experience, this has never happened before. To start off a simple pedi and full set took 3 hours to complete. Not sure why she was having so much trouble gluing on the nails, a couple of them just wouldn't stick, I guess that made her nervous and she grew either anxious or frustrated and it was just downhill from there. I had to tell my nail tech to reshape my nails 4 times as they just weren't the shape I was asking for- a simple Almond shape. I even had to put nails next to each other to point out they weren't identical neither in length nor in shape... After what seemed like an eternity of filing and shaping I was late to my next order of business but finally was able to leave the salon. The very next day however my cuticles started poking out from both sides of every finger. My nails were actually hurting in pain from all the deep filing she had done instead of shaping. I had to treat my cuticles by myself and that's when I notices chunks of left over acrylic underneath my shaped nails. Thats usually something that's supposed to be filed away prior to shaping.... still I thought, its alright I'll be rid of them by next week. But little did I know, it wouldn't even be that long. Such a shame, I usually enjoyed their calm atmosphere and hospitality, but this time was just a hard miss.

I started visiting Mimosa nails just after they first opened in wallington. Having bounced from salon fo salon having to deal with the stress of never having an appointment time kept and seeing a different person each time it was absolute heaven to finally find such a wonderful peaceful haven to get my nails done in. Chucky and Cindy and the whole team are so pleasant and personable. I have never left with nails anything but perfect and over the years I think I’ve had a good go at each colour. The service is outstanding, the conversation is always flowing and the whole nail salon has such a happy bubbly vibe it’s a real pleasure to visit. It’s wonderful to have a nail appointment time and be seen at that time rather then waiting and waiting. Mimosa nails is the best nail salon I’ve ever visited and every person I meet and have recommended the salon too has agreed and never been to another place since. After all these years of being so happy with the salon I’m surprised I hadn’t written a review for the world to see sooner. Keep up the amazing work - you have a client for life in me!

People who work in there are so slow they also ask you what shape and length you want just to then do whatever shape they fancy and the length being nothing what you’ve asked , this is first time trying this nail shop and I will not be trying it again!! Rude member of staff absolute shocking the way they talk and treat you so rude to you in-front of other customers worst experience I have had having my nails done and will never go back

The shellac is way too thick.I said that two weeks ago, only lord knows why I went back!It's so thick, Inconsistent and today even messier than usual. Not impressed for the price I paid. Going to have to start going somewhere else ! I'm annoyed just looking at it
