Unfortunately we couldn’t stay because a water pipe burst outside the hotel, but I would like to comment on how helpful the staff was in helping us to find another place to stay. They were apologetic and very professional and kind. Thank you!

Went for Christmas party here at the weekend, lovely venue I live in Yeovil and passed lanes on many occasions very contempoty staff were friendly and helpful the food was fantastic I had the terrain and turkey main followed by the cheese cannot praise it enough definitely recommend this place

We used this venue for our work Christmas party, the food was great. Probably the best mushroom wellington I have ever had! Good party music played by the DJ, a really fun evening had by all.

A club dinner for 36 people - can't fault any aspect of the evening. Like was most helpful with the planning, and on the night everything went smoothly. The food was excellent, the waiting staff were superb and all the guests were very happy. The comment of 'they went the extra mile' was certainly deserved. Those of us who stayed overnight thoroughly enjoyed our well furnished rooms. We will be back.

Had our Xmas do here. Nice food, not massive portions so if you like ya food dont leave it 7hrs prior to eating like I did. Staff all very pleasant. Full restaurant which was expected and was very hot in there so pop out for fresh air inbetween courses. Didnt stay so not rated rooms. A pleasant evening.

Lovely hotel with comfortable and well proportioned rooms. Friendly staff and good service. Didnt eat at the facility but the menu was quote expensive. Location is in a small village about a 15min drive from Yeovil centre.

Attended daughter's wedding reception here. Everything was fantastic-rooms, service, food, staff and location. Would heartily recommend as a celebration venue.

My wife and I had a lovely evening meal at Lanes. The food was excellent and was extremely good value for money as it was a 2 or 3 course set menu. If you wanted Steak, you did have to pay a supplement, however this was stated on the menu. The service was also excellent with very friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. I highly recommend lanes for an excellent meal out. We only took one picture of the food, as we were so eager to eat it ha ha.
