We have a south facing conservatory that gets incredibly hot in the sun but also really cold in the winter. Additionally in the winter months with the sun lower in the sky it comes in through the windows right at eye level and can be quite blinding.We contacted Ellen from Wiser and she came, measured up and discussed with us our options and we picked colours and style from the wide range of samples she brought with her.We now have nice attractive blinds covering the all of the glass that do not hamper the opening and closing of the doors and windows in any way. They are light weight and easy to open and close Also, being constructed with a reflective material on the outside, they also keep the conservatory to a manageable temperature in the hot sun.I'd expected putting blinds in would result in a dark room that we need to keep permanently lit, but the I was mistaken. Whilst the blinds block a large amount of the excess heat and light, they are thin enough that the allow enough light into the room that it does not feel dingey without using lights.A brilliant solution to our problems at a reasonable price.
