I have used Hills twice in the last month for a new tyre and MOT. We have found the lads very friendly and knowledgeable, the work was done the same day in both occasions and feel they offer very good value for money. Will definitely be using their services again!

I had a very positive experience at Hills garage today. My battery died so I asked them to help, they came the same day, restarted the car and once at the workshop replaced with a new one. They were both very informative and transparent. I was very pleasantly surprised when they told me they didn’t charge for labour and coming to my house. Highly recommended.

Second time here and again very happy customer. For me one of the best things is how quickly issues are seen to, diagnosed and fixed, which is not easy to find. Pretty much within an hour of turning up, both times. Very reasonable rates. Trustworthy, professional, friendly..excellent all round.

Shambles. Waited weeks to get a check engine light diagnosis; they didn't diagnose the root issue, just turned the light off. And charged 50 quid for the pleasure. Week later it reappeared, they made me wait another fortnight to get it seen again, then I arrive and they say they don't actually know how to fix the problem and turn me away. Well over a month wasted and now the car has known severe issues, and I can't get seen anywhere in time to make a necessary long-distance journey.

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid these cowboys at all cost! They fail MOTs with fake, non existent issues, even going to the trouble of “ordering” replacement parts when the originals are in perfect working condition. I will be reporting them to trading standards!
