Rose Garden Fountain
Southampton's once delightful Rose Gardens were demolished several decades ago and are now under tarmac and concrete, but the fountain was saved and relocated to outside the Art Gallery. It is in poor condition now and a legacy to the incompetence of the City Council. If you want to see it at it's best, search for Southampton's Rose Gardens on Google. If you visit the fountain in person, you will have to use your imagination as to how it originally looked, when surrounded by greenery, blooms and wonderful scents.
