It was my first time here and wow! The food was amazing, so flavourful and very filling. The service was really good too, we informed the lady that we havent been here before so she let us know what everything was and even checked on us after we were done! Will definitely come here again! 10/10

We had a great time at your branch in the St James Centre, Edinburgh. Jessica was amazing: she was kind, very patient, helpful(we don’t know much about Mexican food) and joyous! I’m not sure great customer service comes any better than that! Many Thanks

I had seen good reviews but I am very disappointed with my experience. We ordered tacos, which came with very little toppings. Little meat... they didn't add anything else. I complained and they just put some lettuce on top. The worst tacos I've ever had in my life. We ordered a portion of nachos as well, which came out a little better, but I think it could have come with a little more sauce as well.

Second time visiting Tortilla (first was in Newcastle), and found it to be a much better experience. The music wasn't too loud so I could easily hear the server behind the counter, and she was very friendly and didn't rush me, which was appreciated. Despite it being early afternoon the food still appeared to be fresh and I was served quickly which was great as I'd nipped across from Waverley between trains especially. Even with carrying it back to the station, it was still hot when I came to eat it so couldn't fault it at all.My only suggestion would be for them to ask if you've visited before so they can explain the process, or to make it clearer what can be added free of charge and what costs extra, but that's just from the point of view of someone who wasn't sure and was too shy to ask!Based on this visit, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again or recommend to anyone. I only wish the churros didn't have hazelnut filling so I could indulge in those too!

Ordered though Uber eats and the food delivered was delicious! I'm a bit of a spice addict so having the hot salsa actually pack some heat was a pleasant surprise! We both had burritos and they were fresh tasting and full of flavour. Would definitely order again and feel the price paid was worth the food.

We have experienced Tortilla at full price and through TooGoodToGo. Most employees are super friendly and are happy to guide you through the process when it is your first time, as it is a bit more complicated than Subway for example. You get loads of filling when ordering a burrito or a naked burrito (bowl). However, one of the dark haired female employees has a tendency to put less filling in the bowls and is just not as friendly as the others. Originally we thought that this may be due to TooGoodToGo but she did the same for a full price portion (she is the reason service gets only 4/5 stars). We keep on coming back anyway, as the food is very good. The churros are nothing special though so we wouldn’t recommend them. The beef and chorizo are two of the extra price options that are super delicious and in our eyes worth it.The establishment is always very clean and they clean empty tables quickly and thoroughly. We’ll be back again soon (and hopefully are more lucky with our server)(P.S. We munch too fast and forget to take photos. We will add more as we go.)

Came here on a Saturday I believe and now I understand it was busy as it was the weekend but I was quite surprised by the line of people that were waiting to get served as most of the employees were just in a corner speaking to each other and checking their phones meanwhile their was just one poor girl who was doing all the work and yet was lovely (do not remember her name as it wasn't common but she looked Latina and spoke Spanish to some customers) I overheard her asking her colleague that was chatting away if she could refill as she was serving us and on the tills and the woman which had colourful hair and tattoos simply looked at her annoyed and pretended not to hear as then I even saw the girl serving us begin to refill! The food was great maybe a bit overpriced, I will come back again but please be fair to all the workers as I feel some might be getting mistreated by management.
