Tangle and Wild

Maria at Tangle and Wild produces the most romantic magical flowers. She has made bouquets for gifts, table flowers for parties and every year she makes me a perfect Christmas wreath to my specification. Maria’s flower are informal, she has the lightest touches, with beautiful subtle colour combinations often using flowers she’s grown in her own cutting garden. Maria is a truly talented floral designer and having found her will only use her for all my floral needs.

Absolutely fantastic to find Tangle & Wild - on our doorstep. Stunning creations either bang on a brief or I can leave Maria to it and know that she will produce something absolutely beautiful. Maria has also decorated our barn for parties which without doubt took the occasions to the next level as she transformed the space with so much thought and skill. Next I am going to ask her to make an enormous Christmas wreath for the outside of the barn. I can't wait to see what arrives!

Maria was the best and helped make our wedding day extra special. From the initial planning and throughout the wedding day and evening reception, Maria did everything (and so much more) with good humour and a calm and professional approach. Lots of people commented on the amazing flowers, many of which were from Maria's garden. Would highly recommend!

I originally arranged Maria to do some flowers for an aunt through flowers from the farm. Later that year was my fathers 80th birthday, he is less well than he was abd this was a final chance to do something special with family. It also had to be in keeping with a man who had been very creative, artistic and practical a good gardener and painter. I contacted Maria with only a vague notion of autumn colours, and table decorations and arrangements for an arts and crafts village hall. From my vague thoughts she suggested ideas, gave examples and lead me through the whole decision making. However, what she produced was so much more than I could have imagined - so perfect so exactly what I had not been able articulate. Every piece of the decoration wast beautiful and suited the space and the occasion it really was the final piece of the jigsaw for a day that turned out to be as full of happy memories as we could possibly wish with a beautiful backdrop that fitted the man. The family had rented a house nearby for the week and we moved the flowers there where they lasted the rest of the week.

As the wedding planner for Nymans in West Sussex, I first met Maria in August 2022. I was immediately impressed with her kind and gentle nature, her consummate professionalism but overall by her amazing creative skill and flair for floristry. Having seen and worked with many florists over the years, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Maria. Her vision and expertise are second to none.
