The Eye Place - Fleet Street

If one is looking for a 100% patient focused, very informative and extremely pleasant consultation, Marta is the best optometrist to go to. I cannot prise her enough on all possible levels. I gained a deep understanding of my eyes health, how they perform, predictions and how I can help myself to feel comfortable with changes in my eyesight.If one is hoping for an exclusive look of the shop as on photographs, one will be disappointed. Lots of photographs were taken in a different shop which is far from this one. Nevertheless the downstairs (there was no upstairs as on photos) had a nice old school vibe and peacefulness of the ''past era'' which I liked.The choice of quality glasses is generous, great for anyone who is prepared to pay the price for high class comfort. Nevertheless I during glass sales part with a sales assistant I missed a bit more focusing on my everyday eye vision challenges against my budget, what will be pyrones and cones of a particular choice.A very good overall experience though making it want me to stick with the brand. I highly recommend The Eye Place at Fleet Street.

So impressed with this shop. Had an acute issue and they were able to see me on the same day. Have also had an eye test there before and it was really detailed and I felt very well looked after. The staff are all really nice but Marta in particular is absolutely fantastic.

I popped in to ask whether someone could fix my glasses - the frame had been bent during a game of volleyball. The lovely people inside were extremely patient and fixed my glasses for free, within five minutes. The attention and care I received during the short time I was there, even as a non-paying customer, was very much appreciated. I'll be returning to get contact lenses! :)

The Eye Place is the only place to go in London (or in the other 10 other Practices across London and the country) for all things eyes.The team I dealt with in Fleet Street (1 of the 7 locations in London) and the equipment and advice received are all second to none, in my opinion.Can’t recommend them highly enough.John Paul.

This optician is excellent and is as much concerned with the health of your eyes as correcting your vision, as my experience shows. In particular GET CHECKED EARLY IF YOU HAVE FLASHES AND FLOATERS. I have been a customer of the Eye Place for many years, receiving excellent service for my glasses and contact lenses. I recently discovered that optometrists are much more than that, however. I noticed a small flash occurring in my vision as well as a change in the floaters in my eyes. I went to the Eye Place to see Marta. She was able to use the modern scanning equipment at the Eye Place to spot a potential small tear in my retina. Shortly afterwards I was able to get laser treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital to prevent it getting worse and possibly causing retinal detachment and loss of sight. I am extremely grateful to Marta and the Eye Place for the quality of their care, which was also praised by the staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Don’t delay if you have these symptoms: you could lose your sight.

Excellent service! The staff was incredibly helpful for walking me through the options of the frames. They scheduled an eye test for me as well. Today I had the eye test with Nehali and she was absolutely fantastic. She walked me through the procedure, showing the results, what the machines were doing etc.. I'm really happy with the service and will definitely recommend.

One of THE best opticians in London if not the country! Excellent staff who do a fantastic job of testing and assessing the health of your eyes leaving no stone unturned using leading edge equipment. They have a wonderful range of eyewear for you to pick from if you need correction. But it doesn't end there, they are on hand to provide continued support through the eyewear journey! It's a fantastic service from start to finish, and the Fleet st is lucky to Vasiliki does a wonderful job of running the store.

Amazing service from everyone at The Eye Pace on Fleet Street. From the optometrists to the staff helping me choose my frames, everyone was incredibly helpful, patient and professional. Great selection of frames too. The best experience I’ve had buying new glasses in London.
