The staff are friendly, they're reasonably priced, the shop itself is a stones throw from the metro, and no matter how socially inept you are, you'll find yourself talking to the staff before long.I believe they stopped walk-ins around Covid time, but they do accept bookings which is far more convenient, as you can book for certain times with certain members of staff.On top of all this, the owner, Chris, is a lovely guy. If it went that high, I'd give the place 10/10, but since I'm limited to 5 I'll have to go up to that.

Called to enquire if I should book an appointment. I was told that it was preferable. So appointment booked for 10am. Arrive at 9.55 to be told come back at 10am due to COVID measures. No problem happy with that. Come back at 10am to be told not be long Dans just sterilizing his equipment. No probs. 10.15 still not inside waiting outside cold. Dan just finished his clients hair. He go’s back up and I’m still waiting outside. 10.20 I left. Poor service. Why take appointments if you can’t keep to them. You have the audacity to tell me to come back at my appointment time but then I have to wait 20mins outside and still not get seen to. I did mention when booking that I had to be done b4 11am. You need to look at how you do things because you can’t afford to loose custom like this.

I used to attend this barbershop regularly, and thought I'd established good faith with the gaffer. Unfortunately, I began to notice a general untidiness to my haircuts each time I got home. The back and sides were often very uneven, and this wasn't really something I could spot whilst there. I felt uncomfortable bringing this up with him, and decided to go elsewhere. However, the subsequent awkwardness I would feel when passing his shop to go to a cafe I enjoy frequenting was not nice. When I eventually tried addressing these issues with him, he gave me short shrift, which was very disappointing given he knows some of my history of not feeling heard. Very disappointing behaviour. I wasn't even trying to criticise him, but to reestablish my right to hold my head up high when going to a place I like to sit and do my own work. I hope he takes all of this on board. If he can dismiss someone who trusted him so easily, I worry his attitude will eventually harm his business.

Cracking barbers. Real friendly staff. You can have a real good laugh. Dose my head & beard perfect. Very good prices. Defo recommend.

Chris & his team are fab. They have cut my son's hair since he was a baby, so for the past 4 years. Always great service with a smile!

I absolutely love this place. I get a lot of anxiety issues and they are fantastic the owner is very reassuring and the atmosphere is great. Absolutely brilliant banter and even when I've not visited for months and months I'm treated and remembered as if I was there a week ago. The absolute quality of the hair cut is outstanding and you are not rushed out the door. I literally can't go anywhere else

Probably one of the very best barbers shops in the area. Friendly welcoming staff,highly skilled. Reasonable prices in superb surroundings. Well worth a booking. 5 *...

Fantastic cuts. Always on time with appointments and well priced. My son (13) always requests his hair cut here.

Great haircut every time and great craic while you're there. I've always found going for a haircut a proper chore but actually enjoy going now.

Just had my first cut there.Guy was pleasant enough etc but at £10.50 for a simple cut was a bit pricey compared to my usual.But more to the point the cut wasn't good.After washing hair back home. hair was different lengths and didn't look tidy at all.Won't be going back.
