Well where to start?The honest, kind and professional phone calls with Georgia?The patience she had with me?A friendly family run business?The fact they took the car when clearly they were very busy, only because I was on holiday and stuck 400miles from home?The fact that they didn't charge me an arm and a leg for work they did do?The fact that she guided me in the right direction so I would know where and how to get the car back on the road??The service is top notch and if I lived closer it would be my full time garage!If you are unsure that you should use this garage... don't second guess yourself get on the phone to Georgia and get booked in!!Thank you team :)

I have used this garage twice now and both times they had some poor excuses as to why my car wasn't ready keeping it a day longer than promised. The 1st time I had an aux belt repair and they told me the wrong belt had been sent. The 2nd time I was told it was the suspension arms and anti roll bar and the price seemed reasonable, they kept the car over the weekend and were.meant to return it the Monday. They contacted me because of a delay in parts being sent" and that it would be Tuesday

Everyone i know uses this garage. There totally honest and i would recommend them to everyone. Georgia at reception is fab

I don't usually go around leaving bad reviews, but I called for a last-minute brake job and was kindly offered a slot the next morning but the owner quoted way higher than three other places I checked and forgot most of the info I gave him on the phone. I tried to call to cancel but there's not answerphone service and when he called me to see where I was, I explained this and he hung-up while I was talking. Very rude and unprofessional.

I have used this garage for the first time today.Very good service,polite and knowledgeable reception.Very competitive prices compared to main dealer.I highly recommend North East Garages.

I had a flat tyre one evening and contacted North East Garages (Whitley lodge) As it was 5pm they said they would look at it in the morning. Within 2 hours they phoned to say that there was a nail in the tyre in a place that couldn't be safely repaired so a new tyre was necessary. This was arranged and fitted by 3PM at a reasonable price.Good service.

Tried to rip me off when given quote until I said def not and my mechanic had already quoted me. Unfortunately he was on holiday. Went from £97 for a ball joint to £77 ‘knocked some off for labour’ in other words put price up because I was a young girl and tried to take advantage. Then had the cheek to ring me saying needed new suspension arm and something else and MOT failure needed done asap it’s dangerous trying to scare me into getting the work done even though MOT was just done with NO ADVISORYS so how this ‘worn’ damage is there out the blue is beyond me asked them to stop working on the car and they proceeded to say they couldn’t. Stay well clear of. My mechanic used for years said not a chance that needed done and to refuse them to work on it and if it needed done he would do it FREE because there was no chance he missed that in my MOT been a mechanic for over 30 years...

Family run garage. Always very friendly and helpful. Been taking the car here for years and they are fair and honest. Originally went here to get a second opinion on an MoT that had failed. They passed the car and explained the faults" from the previous garage and why they weren't faults. Highly recommend."
