Great experience with Highland Auto Campers Ltd. Really helpful communiction before hand and a thorough handover in how to use and look after the camper. Mark and Alicia are warm and welcoming, the vehicle was great and we had an amazing holiday. Would recommend 100% and will use again.

I enjoyed the camper van a lot. So much so, I wanted to take it home! Very easy to drive, comfortable, clean, and came with bedding, a camping chair, coffee, and all the cooking needs. Just add yourself, food, and ready to go. I would absolutely rent from them again. The owners were super helpful in demonstrating all of the features and helping me with transfers to and from Inverness.

We stayed in 'Skye' for six nights in early May and had the best time! One of the lovely things about the van was all the little bits & pieces provided- like tea & coffee, washing up liquid, crockery etc. Its was huge plus to not have to pay extra for these, or spend a fortune at the supermarket on essentials! The van was clean and well maintained and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfy the Duvalay bedding was.Of course, it wouldn't have been the same without the company of our golden retriever Cooper. He loved his first van trip and had his best holiday ever (admittedly it was his first holiday!). Doing the NC500 all the campsites were within walking distance of the beach, and Cooper had plenty of room to snooze in the back of the van while we drove between walks. He had plenty of room to sleep on the floor at the end of the pull out bed and absolutely loved sitting with the sliding door open, watching the world go by at the campsites.

Great Vans and fully equipped. Very friendly and helpful . They seem to answer questions very quickly and virtually any time of day or night !We took out Harris for a week and completed the NC500 . No problems driving the Van even on steep single track roads. Having the reversing camera was very helpful:) Would recommend to anyone . Spot the Van in the middle photo

This was the best camper van we’ve ever hired. So easy to drive, much easier than the VW we hired last year. It was really well equipped, easy to pop the roof top, pretty economical on fuel and simply great fun! Alicia was really helpful about showing us round the vehicle after which we felt relaxed and confident to head out on our journey. Driving down the small roads on the far west coast, we felt sorry for the large motor homes who were struggling a bit. The van provided all that we needed, sheltered us from some horrendous weather but wasn’t so luxurious that we spent all of our time in it. We found the gas bbq really useful, easy to use and clean and the duvalet bedding was fantastic and super comfy. We’d thoroughly recommend using this company for your Scottish adventure!

Our Highland Auto Campers experience was perfect from start to finish! We couldn't have asked for better. Booking was simple and everything was communicated perfectly.When we arrived for collection, Alicia was so friendly and explained Ruby and all of the details very thoroughly. It is a lot to take in if you've never used a campervan before however the van comes with a manual too. So when you are on the road you can check that if you forget anything.Ruby drove great, even through single track roads and up steep inclines (manual driving). Obviously you just have to keep your wits about you. We avoided gravel/stone roads and pot holes. The vans come with a full tank of petrol so you just have to fill up before returning them. So we only filled up twice on our trip and we done the NC500 anti clockwise with a few detours added in there too.Ruby had everything we needed and was comfortable. The pop top is easy enough to put up and down and did survive some windy nights but something to be aware of is my partners duvalay did get wet because it was pushed towards the bottom end of the pop top on a rainy night. But the duvalays were great and kept us warm/comfy.The only negatives (very minor) for us were the pillows were a little bit flat for our preference. We had to put a towel or two underneath. Also the window privacy covers were slightly damaged from previous campers, sometimes they fell down but that wasn't too much of an issue, we soon got them back up with a bit of manoeuvring.There was plenty of storage space (for us 2). The BBQ was a great addition, we used that a lot. We also decided on taking the portable toilet that is offered, glad we did for when we were in remote areas. We also bought some little bin liners for our rubbish as Ruby didn't come with any and we noticed a lot of the campsite rubbish areas requested general rubbish be put into a bag.Overall the most amazing trip thanks to Highland Auto Campers! We got so attached to Ruby, its a great way to travel the NC500. Would definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic experience using Highland Auto Campers for our recent trip around the north coast. Booking via the website was super easy and our follow up questions/requests for advice between booking and arriving were answered very quickly - both Alicia and Mark were so helpful and friendly. Pick up was great and our van briefing was really thorough. Ruby contained everything we might need for our 2 week trip - the bedding was SO comfortable and the coffee pot and fresh coffee was a real treat, we were very sad to say goodbye to our little home on wheels when we dropped her off. 100% would and will use Highland Auto Campers again for our next trip.

Hired Lewis for the second time for a road trip over to the Isle of Skye. Had the most amazing time. Lewis has everything needed for a great trip, all the extras have been thought of...including the complimentary cookies! Would thoroughly recommend Highland Auto Campers, Mark and Alicia are great, really easy to deal with and couldn't do enough to ensure the insurance process was dealt with quickly, especially as we had to use overseas driving licences.

Great company to deal with, very informative and helpful and price was very reasonable for 4 days. The van ‘Ollie’ is a great size for travelling around and came with basically everything you need to go ‘camping’ the fact it is dog friendly also is great. A few small points that I think could be improved slightly.. I felt it could have been a bit cleaner inside and maybe an air freshener popped in! and feel it may be beneficial if some bin bags & kitchen roll were also included. The use of the outdoor seats and bbq are a lovely addition! All In all I would definitely hire again and waking up to some of these amazing views beats any hotels!
