MRI Plus - Leigh on Sea

Avoid MRI plus! I cancelled my appointment with 48 hours notice and unable to get a refund. MRI plus customer service completely ignores my calls and emails. If you don't want to loose your money and waste your time chasing it, do not book with MRI plus!

I chose the Silver package, to get the CD images and 2 day report. Scan was quick and efficient and staff very pleasant. Report was received late afternoon the next day. CD taken home on day of scan. Very pleased with the service received.

I booked mri on Monday, booked for the next day. I picked silver package at £299. (Cd with scan & 2/3 days to wait for report). My results came in 3 hours after my scan. I got told I had arthritis which is what I expected. After all the negative comments I was worried. I went to mri Plus because location to me & the price. The staff was all really nice, especially the receptionist. not much waiting around. Got my results in a few hours. I would recommend. I would go again. I will say it is cold, put jumper & socks on. Lol.

I came here recently for a private MRI for my neck. I chose the bronze package and opted for the extra CD with images for £25. Communication with reception is great and staff were friendly. I asked for extra earplugs for the scan which helped a lot with the noise of the machine. I had my images straight away and it took only two working days for my report to be created. I can't fault MRI plus at all.

Not happy with the service at allI booked the Platinum Package which included a radiology report and a specialist radiology report which they claim that you will receive within two days.I got only got the one report 4 days later. In the package also a Virtual review with a private GP Specialist as included.Which I had to then call them to enquire about.I then received a call from someone who was not a specialist in my condition.Who recommended nothing more than steroid injections, which I do not need as am already on pain medication which is working for me.I was then called by the centre again who seemed to be under the impression that I would take be willing to take their advice of steroid injections, which would cost me more to have, and that they could put me in touch with a specialist in my area of concern again for an extra cost.Please, please, please... do not pay for the Platinum package it is complete rip off!!

Booked a Gold package MRI for a family member. The service from start to finish was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. CD of images provided on the day and radiologist report received within 2 days as promised.Special mention and thanks to Georgia-May who handled the booking and answered all our questions beforehand. Thank you.

Booked in for an MRI on their website, they cancelled it and haven’t bothered refunding me nearly 2 weeks later. Called several times only for someone rude to say they’ll call back (they never do) don’t risk giving them your money people and go elsewhere. Wouldn’t trust them with my health in a million years!

Do not book here - the whole process was a complete mess start to finish. It took me over 6 calls to go from speaking to someone to actually booking the appointment. They will constantly hand you over from person to person without actually getting anything done or booked in.I am an average size and weight individual (5ft10 and 95kg) and I did not actually fit in the machine. It was clear I didn't fit in the machine as the scanner was pressing into my chest and arms, then one of their male practitioners physically tried to push me further into the scanner. He then tried to force me into the machine another two times before finally relenting that it wasn't going to fit.It is abundantly clear that there is no patient care here and that it is all about turning over as many customers as possible. Would not recommend!

I paid £399 for an MRI scan and private consultation but am very disappointed with what I have received. The actual scan itself went very well but the private GP was simply awful as was only a telephone call for around 10 minutes in which time he kept asking me to hold so that he could answer another phone which was ringing. He told me I needed surgery and charged me a further £75 to refer me to a specialist which he never did and when chasing him he promises to call back but never does. I complained to MRI plus who said that I would receive a call from this GP 2 days ago to refund the £75 but still hasn’t happened and I have since found out that surgery is not required at all. This company’s main objective seems to put profit before patient care and I would not recommend them.
