Such a disappointing breakfast. I had poached eggs on toast and added an avocado. One of the poached eggs was undercooked and I couldn't eat it. I informed the waitress and she said she would inform the chef but no offer to replace it and they still charged for the full price of 2 eggs and toast even though half of my plate was rendered inedible. We were also disappointed with the ketchup it was the watery cheap tasteless variety, usually a good indication that cheap ingredients are being used all round. Friendly but slow service. Do not recommend and would definitely not go here again.Edit: having read your reply to both myself and my husband I can confirm that literally half of my plate, as pictured, was left. At the time I informed the waitress of the problem, at the time we paid the bill, and at the time she cleared the plates and we left. At no point did she offer anything at all to fix the problem besides 'telling chef'. If it is the case as you suggest that she should have offered to replace, which I agree should have happened, then she needs to be made aware of this because it clearly didn't even cross her mind.

Possibly the best avocado and poached eggs on toast I've ever had. Very yummy, lovely space and atmosphere, fab staff.Thank you.

Visited whilst on holidays from South Wales. Beautiful food and very nicely presented. Jenny our waitress was very warm, friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Very clean restaurant and we would most definitely recommend. We'll certainly be paying a visit here when we visit the area again. well done guys ❤️

Food nice, atmosphere nice but service a bit slow which meant we needed to follow up a lot.. hence 4 stars. Nice views if you get the right seat so would return for that! :)

A very warm welcome for 8 hungry cyclists. Plenty of space, a lovely locally sourced menu and super quick service. Worth the Sidmouth hills to get there.

Really lovely cafe that we always visit when in Sidmouth. Dog and baby friendly. Food and coffee is good and served with a smile. My only criticism is we went on 2 different days this time and my portion of food was significantly different with much less scrambled egg the second time! Hopefully it was just a one-off. We'll be back again soon anyway :)

This is a fabulous new restaurant in Sidmouth.Great quality food and wonderful array of tapas dishes in lovely surroundings.The service is second to none nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait to go back
