After a disappointing experience at another salon, Sabai made me feel comfortable and listened to on my first visit. I’ve seen a few different people and every single person is fabulous and knowledgeable. I’ve had a Keratin treatment once, and a cut a colour done at every visit and am never disappointed. I was even able to bring my infant in with me for an appointment and they were extremely helpful with accommodating this. When my parents visit from the US, my mom gets her hair done at Sabai and always comments on what a treat it is.

Absolutely the best salon I've been to. Emma does the most amazing colour on my hair, I always get compliments. I always leave this beautiful salon with gorgeous glossy hair. Emma and the rest of the staff are professional, friendly and always make you feel welcome. Won't go anywhere else, highly recommend.

Beautiful wonderful staff the owners Joe and Lyndsay are wonderful and welcoming as are the rest of the staff. They take the time to listen to what you want done and will always advise. Highly recommend to visit. I have curly hair and know when I have a bad hair cut as my curls turn to frizz but since going to Sabai my hair has never been as good as a condition. Highly recommend such a friendly experienced staff Joe and Lyndsey keep themselves fully up to date with all new features and hairproducts and styles

I've been having my hair cut by Joe for so long I can't remember, maybe 15 years. Despite never knowing what I want I always leave looking great and with hair that is entirely right for me. Joe is the loveliest man, putting time into chatting and having a laugh with warmth and sensitivity. This spreads out into the whole salon, the team make you feel so welcome and it is clear they all genuinely love what they do.

Hands down the best hairdressers I've been to in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Can't rate Joe and his team highly enough. Lived in Newcastle 10 years and was losing hope trying to find a hair dresser who understood what I wanted and I felt comfortable and confident talking to but this salon listens to what the customer wants and goes above and beyond to deliver. Fantastic staff, amazing salon and I come out feeling a million dollars with every hair cut. Thank you Sabai! Looking forward to my next appointment.

I have been getting my hair cut and coloured for over twelve years with Joe and Lyndsey and couldn’t be happier. I love my hair it’s literally my crowning glory. I’ve always felt welcomed even though I can be very fussy! Best hair dresser by miles and can’t wait to be back in two weeks

I went to Sabai for the first time in October as they offer a great cut and colour deal for students and I’d tried several different hairdressers that never really got the result I wanted.Immediately I noticed how nice the decor was and how chilled the vibe is. Beth did my hair and did a great job getting the colour I wanted and leaving it in excellent condition. I hope the hairdressing industry reopens soon so I can get it done again before Christmas! Will be returning.

I’ve been enjoying my visits to Sabai for many years now and can’t recommend Joe and the team highly enough. They listen and care and offer invaluable, expert advice. The salon is a serenity of calm and the whole team work so hard to create a nurturing and relaxing environment. They genuinely make you feel like you are part of a special family - all with great hair! Definitely worth a visit.
