I made the mistake of buying from Brew UK before reading their reviews and then experienced the same as seen in other negative reviews in which the item never arrived and no refund was given (and general theme of terrible customer service).I had tracking proof that it had been damaged in transit (twice) and returned to Brew UK before ever being delivered to myself. They made excuses to delay the refund and then radio silence... Luckily I had paid through PayPal and had screen shotted all the tracking info and emails so PayPal closed the case in my favour and immediately refunded me. I would strongly discourage anyone from ordering from Brew UK.

Now I've received my refund I feel safe to post this as I didn't trust the company enough to refund me after a bad review. Avoid at all costs! I originally never got an email saying my order would be dispatched so I emailed brew UK and they never responded. I then had a call saying the items I'd bought 'were damaged' and that they'd need a few more weeks to send out a replacement. For reasons I won't delve into I needed my items much sooner than that. I instead decided to ask to cancel the order and look elsewhere. I got no confirmation email that the order was cancelled and began to get nervous. I saw multiple one star reviews on here and decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt. I waited 10 days with still no money back in my account and no email. I rang brew UK and was promised at least a confirmation email that my order would be refunded and I was promised to receive this that afternoon. After receiving no email I called again the next day and was told they couldn't promise me any email and couldn't update me on my refund. This is when I went to PayPal and opened a case against them. Within 5 minutes of opening the case they responded and instantly sent a refund. I eventually got my money back but had to use the threat of PayPal coming after them to do so. Will never use this company again and I suggest you don't either. If you really must, please use PayPal as it's easier to claim your money back if they pull a similar stunt as they did to me. My order was £50 but as a student the stress would've been significant if it was a £500 order for example. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Honestly, these Karen's and Kens will find any excuse to write a negative review! Had a few questions about my order and was dealt with quickly and professionally by Anthony, answered all relevant delivery based questions and helped me combine two orders to save on postage!Thanks guys! Will deffo be back soon!

The mash tun is falsely advertised as brewpucks that has a solid filter at the bottom. Instead they actually sell an overpriced picnic cooler modified with bad DIY skills. It is leaking from the tap and the filter comes off when mashing.Gave them every opportunity to make it right as I called and send them severals emails but never bothered to reply. I will NOT be using you again.

Delivery was good, but unfortunateIy follow up customer service is awful. I made an order in April and received it a couple of weeks later. Given the circumstances I was happy with this service. Unfortunately there was a fault with one of the items and I have been trying in vain for 3 weeks to contact them (email, phone, website) with no response. Given that this was an expensive piece of kit I am very disappointed with their lack of customer service and regret buying from them.

Do not buy from this company. They are completely incompetent with regards to communication, sorting out problems and issuing refunds. I cancelled my order after waiting over a week with no contact from the company and no indication my order was being processed. Only then did they contact me several days later with an update which was they were out of stock of some items. It then took them another week to cancel the order and that they would be refunding me. Now another 10 days later and still no refund. Will update if they actually apologise for how inept they are being an actually refund my money.

AVOID BREWUK AT ALL COSTS. RECEIVED DAMAGED ITEMS AND NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT RETURN OR PROVUDE REFUND. HAPPY TO TAKE MONEY BUT NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

As most reviews on here.Having a nightmare trying to get a partial refund of £69. For anitem they cannot deliver which was part of a bigger order. Spent over £800 with them.Rang, sent lots of emails. Get no reply to emails.. been over three months now. Started a PayPal dispute. Hopefully they will have a better chance than me.I'd avoid buying from brew uk and certainly won't be shopping with them again.

Ive been buying wine kits and bits and bobs from Brew UK for a couple of years now. I live locally and pick my stuff up. Basically I think their wine kits and all the equipment is really good and modestly priced. If part of my order isn't in stock they get back to me and suggest good alternatives. And they are a nice friendly helpful bunch when its time to pick up! Thoroughly recommended. Rufus

Said in store shop, visited the shop today 22 Feb to purchase wine kits. Got told have to order over the Internet then collect can'tpurchase over the counter. Think I'll order elsewhere.
