An excellent events venue for every type of occasion. Last night I did a 50th Birthday everyone had a entertaining evening with music Video's and the dancing included modern Jive and early on I did a children's section . I always enjoy a good night and last night was a good Party. Thanks to all. Pete.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday party at The John Godber Centre, and it was an absolute delight. The venue's stunning aesthetics, excellent facilities, and convenient parking created the perfect backdrop for the occasion. What truly set the event apart was Kim and her team's remarkable commitment. They were very supportive during the planning phase and were flexible and incredibly accommodating of our requests and needs. It's a definite 5-star review from me – nothing less!

The John Godber centre hosted our wedding reception. We had to delay 3 times due to COVID & they were with us every step of the way. Kim, the events manager was brilliant & always kept us in the loop. The room was light, airy & spacious, laid out to our exact specifications. Nothing was too much trouble & the wedding packages a so reasonably priced compared to other venues. Would highly recommend!

The John Godber Centre
It was nice, first time dancing there (first floor), however I think maybe there was (by no fault of the owners), a function in the past like a party as the dance floor was a bit sticky so me and my dance partners couldn't turn so easily. I'm now in bed my this morning as my ankles are killing.
