A gentleman barber at the top of his business. If you want a bad expensive haircut look elsewhere. Taz deserves the custom. It is rare to find a service like this. You will not find better under the sun or moon!

The first thing you notice when walking in is how clean and how calm everything is. It's a very cathartic experience but with none of the silly pretence that one might find these days.Taz is an absolute gentleman and with a worryingly good memory and a very positive attitude. Hasn't seen me in 18 months due to covid and straight away he's asking me how things we spoke about last are going, how the family is etc.The haircut and shave is done with skill and care, and I'm left in control with constant checks that I'm comfortable and do I want this bit long and short...Personally I feel he chronically undercharges too, but apart from a slight amount of guilt, it means I can afford to see him more often.10/10: I actively look forward to going back.

Very professional service from a highly experienced and friendly barber who caters for clients of all ages. Whilst you wait for your haircut you can relax on the sofa whilst enjoying a free drink from the machine...hot chocolate is a winner! Haircut prices are value for money and this place is a great addition for the Easingwold community. Should be called Brilliant Scissors!

Normally go to Leeds for my haircut but went to Broken Scissors for the first time. Taz is very obliging and a top bloke, would certainly use again.
