Pine Farmhouse Table

I ordered a table at the beginning of March, and unfortunately due to lockdown delivery was delayed until now. However, Hannah kept me updated throughout and was always quick to respond to my emails. Now it’s arrived, it’s a lovely and really good quality table that will last for years - exactly what I was looking for and worth the wait (which I imagine would be much shorter in normal times)!

The actual craftmanship itself is great but there customer service (or lack of) is just disgusting.They tell you three weeks for delivery, it takes six or seven and with that only part of the furniture turns up. To add insult to injury our dining table and chairs weren't varnished the same colour so a few more weeks went by for that to be corrected.They confirm they will be able to make custom sized furniture (wanted a taller table as I'm taller than the average person), took the money then upon creating it state they cant do what we asked (make legs longer) and instead cut into the underskirt of table so my legs can fit under.They dont communicate between the departments efficiently as we ordered matching tv unit and bookshelf to be painted and colour matched to our dining table set and low and behold they arrive weeks late and a different colour.Countless phone calls to there sales team and no one ever ringing back. I've had an ongoing charade with them now since December!!?My wife made an official complaint six weeks ago to which I chased up and nothing had been looked at, I complained again and was told the Director was looking into it. As yet, four weeks later I'm still waiting for a response and no apology for any of the cock ups along the way.Honestly, dont waste your time or money with these people. The lack of customer care is appaulling, just take your money and get what you are given depending on when they can be bothered.Absolute jokers

Fine, good service...and deliver.. 5 years on it is weathering and ageing. Loves the fact you could choose your size and the extending leaves makes for flexibility.

Quick and friendly service. The bedroom furniture we bought has excellent quality workmanship and the extra design features make them perfect for our family's needs.

Utterly appalling company. 5 months after my original order which was delivered incomplete and damaged I’m still waiting for a refund. This company don’t respond to email, letters or even the threat of legal action. I’m having to get a refund issued from my credit card company to salvage this company inept attitude to consumer law. Don’t buy from here.

Amazing personalised service. Helpful, friendly staff who clearly love what they do day in, day out. I am very happy with my new bespoke table and bench. I wanted an unusual size and nothing is a problem for these people. They are ace - anything is possible. Loving my new furniture and have just ordered more...so excited for it to arrive soon :)

I have ordered from this man, Michael Hughes, before and received good products with good and understandable terms. I didn't see what I wanted on the website, so emailed him from my previous dealings. I was offered the products I'd ordered previously and subsequently placed the order. I was told that they would be delivered and if we could pay on delivery - cash on delivery - was the term used. I agreed and duly wrote a cheque on arrival to the name on the invoice - Pine Furniture Cornwall. I was therefore surprised to receive a very worried telephone call about why I hadn't paid by cash and that the girls in the office would be in trouble if I didn't pay immediately by bank transfer. I agreed I would pay by bank transfer, if the cheque I'd written could be returned. I then received another very harried call about why I hadn't paid. I said that I would pay by bank transfer when I received they cheque back - they didn't seem very happy about this, as I hadn't paid". I said I had - I'd written them a cheque. She said she'd come back to me. A couple of hours later

I ordered an 8’ pine table with matching bench and 4 slatback chairs. Delivery took 10 days and arrived in time for Christmas. I was very happy with the communication I received from the company. Items arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. The furniture is solid, well made and great value. So happy that I stumbled across this company in my search for a traditional looking table.
