After waiting in for most of the day on Saturday the delivery driver turned up and try to delivery the wrong item. I have informed the store and I have been waiting two days for someone to call me back. I have telephone the store but they don't answer the phone it mostly rings out. I have now rang and asked for a call back. Please can you sort this out??!

Was told I would have items delivered between 1pm and 5:30pm, it came closer to 5 and my delivery hadn't arrived. Rang the number for the store and was told my delivery would be an hour and half late due to traffic conditions. An hour and a half passed, I rang the store again to find them closed and I was left without my items and unable to contact the delivery driver.Update: The delivery arrived 2 hours later than paid for delivery time and delivery driver was sent to deliver Customer items in a unfit vehicle which I had to help unsuccessfully jumpstart .

Awful, booked for a collection to donate bedroom furniture, already sent them photos and all agreed for collection. Men arrived and took the chest of drawers, moved the wardrobe outside then refused to take it....too far for them to walk to their van from our front door, wardrobe too heavy! They left it outside, no explanation no nothing, just said shop manager didn't want it now. Unbelievable, will never donate to BHF again. Poor service, arrogant men and now I'm left with a wardrobe that is in perfect condition, only a year old and it's stuck outside. Thanks BHF.

Bought a new mattress and double bed 5 weeks ago. Very unpleasant experience. Volunteers were lovely but the manager was most unhelpful. The delivery was made just before 7pm as they were running late. I spent all day indoors waiting. Rang a couple of times to check and “Sarah” was downright abrupt. We even donated our pine king size bed for which they got over £100.

Very unhelpful and ungrateful approach. Made us feel like they were doing us a favour by considering our donation. Asked us to provide photos, then booked collection. When they turned up, they rejected our donation. Horrible to deal with and will not do so again.

We went in to have a nose and I found my time and experience time wasting.1st time we went in the shop was dirty and filthy. The banisters were grimy and had not seen cleaning products since the shop had opened.The final time I went in the staff had spent chatting to each other for near half and hour and no customers in the store but only us! We had to wait half an hour to get seen and the staff was completely RUDE!

Booked an appointment to collect furniture, got told we could, then received an email to call and that they couldn't have booked us in for that time because they aren’t available. It’s like their stores and website operate separately? Have called 3 times and each time is “we’ll pass you onto someone” and they either hang up or wait 20 minutes then hang up. After multiple failed attempts on different days we managed to get ahold of someone to only be told that “they don’t really go past our post code” as we live on a farm a little out from everyone else. Ended up selling the furniture instead because they were useless.

Very helpful Staff,met some lovely kind people at this store. Always happy to help clean tidy and always a welcomed smile. The store has many items good condition most clean / not all as clean but price reflects this. Some goods are brand new. There are more good upstairs but sadly can't not access the upstairs due to not being able to climb stairs. One member of staff over came this by taking photos of the sofas I was interested in. As a wheelchair user and I also use crutches I couldn't get around the store too well. The staff very kindly moved furniture out of my way so I could move about freely.Reason for for 4 stars no accuse to upstairs.

Went in for the first time today for a look round .Wide range of sofas and furniture available , some used and some brand new .Selection of white goods , TVs , dvd players etc at the back and then upstairs was a load of beds , dining tables and wardrobes . Also a selection of floor and table lamps .Didn't buy anything this time but will be back
