Griffin Dental Practice

Can't understand why so many bad reviews. Receptionists are great, very polite, dentist and hygienist are lovely. Needed an emergency app and was given same day too.10/10

I can’t even put in to words how amazing these dentists are from the start of my dental work back in September to the finishing today they have made me feel at ease and relaxed and they gave me back a smile that I haven’t had for years ❤️ thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Absolutely amazing dentist receptionists are great the dentist I see is brilliant explains everything to me as I have a bit of a phobia very calm and understanding

Kate the dentist is so lovely and professional as is her dental assistant, they've always made me feel really at ease every time I've been seen and you can see how hard they are working to see and treat all of their patients

It is 2 different dental practicesGough and Griffin but with one receptionThey are good but no one ever wants to go to a place for treatment but I don't mind check ups

Great lady dentist pulling my last teeth I had left,was great and totally caring,was a few years ago though

Sons first appointment; firstly was waiting 30 minutes after arriving with on time, no acknowledgment of this. Simple sorry to keep you would’ve been fine.Obviously my son was nervous with it been his first visit, he did really well initially letting them count his teeth. Absolutely zero praise or acknowledgement/reassurance.After this the dentist asked if he could put fluoride on his teeth, my son became upset and refused this but again absolutely no reassurance/compassion form either of the dentist or assistant. Bluntly told to come back in 3 months.Back in the car after reassuring my son his simple reply was “i didn’t know what it was” all it may of needed was a gentle explanation from either of the dentist or assistant.

Been using this dental practice for a few years it just gets worse every time I visit .I have a problem with my jaw and suffer with almost constant pain I was told to see my dentist about this problem so I did at first she was very understanding and said she would get me sorted after that appointment when I went back it was like the previous appointment and discussion never happened and when I tried to mention it I was look at like I was an idiot by the dentist and the nurse just stood there with a smirk on her face . I am now looking for another dentist hopefully someone who can help me .

So I was in the middle of having a tooth extracted and the compressor stopped working for 30 minutes. The reason for the 5 star review is because these things do happen from time to time and when they do it's how the people react that determines how good they are at their jobs. In this case everyone was scrambling around trying to resolve the issue while I was enjoying a conversation with the dentist about the intricacies of dentistry and compressor operation. And just as I was about to leave with a hospital referral and a course antibiotics their compressor started back up and they were able to finish the procedure. All of their staff were incredibly apologetic and friendly and the dentist was kind and very fastidious. Can't wait to have more teeth pulled out of my face :)

If i could give zero stars i would!Extremely Rude staff!Receptionist in Particular has a disgusting attitude problem!Completely in the wrong job to care and assist patients.Formal PHSO complainthas been made about the dentist!The practice needs to seriously assess the problem at hand, do not offer a service if your not willing to follow through with patient care!!I'd avoid like the plague
