Oxfordshire Narrow Boats

We had the best experience with oxfordshire narrow boats and really enjoyed the time on the boat! The team was so nice and helpful, the instructions they gave us on how to navigate the boat were easy to understand and we felt safe and in good hands from day one. The time on the water was relaxing and calming and the nature was so lovely that we decided to definitely come back for a second time. We were especially blown away by the kindness and friendliness of the boating community and the people we met on the water and alongside the canal. We fell in love with the whole experience. Thank you so much for the time we could spend on your lovely boat! See you on the flipside... :)

Just returned back to dry land after a midweek trip on the Oxford canal. Hire boat was clean and tidy and the staff at the heyford base were helpful and knowledgeable about the boat and the canal. An enjoyable first trip for most people. Will definitely use again.

Had a great family trip using their boats. The staff was friendly and explained everything needed to be successful on the canals.

Nice boats, do mention you need towels (if you need some). Well equipped kitchen. We had a great time.

Just got home from our 4-night stay - we miss it already!Staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Having done some boating in the past we opted for a quick departure. The boat was really well equipped and even stocked Ecover cleaning products.The boat can get a bit cold at night, but the central heating and hot water system worked really well (we had the Farnborough).Heading South the canal is beautiful, pubs in Thrupp are great and nice to be able to get to Oxford in a couple of days. Only issue is the canal follows the Trainline so it can be a bit noisy at night.We'd love to come back and do a trip going North next time!

Was needing my narrowboat blackened and after seeing the service advertised gave them a call. Good communication, left the boat with them a bit early, moved and lifted and lots of photos taken. No extras added on and the couple of items I wanted checking they did. Good price compared to others who quoted me. Nice clean, shiny bottom now !

Fantastic place for a short break. Myself and my ex-Army buddy’s hired narrowboat Friday to Monday. Cannot recommend Oxfordshire Narrow Boats higher. We’re all novices at narrowboating so everything from the instruction from Ben on what’s on the boat, how to operate the locks, and where’s best to moor up everything was easy to understand. It was all fantastic. The boats were really well equipped, everything we needed was there. Views were stunning all the way down to the Thames.
