Aston Court Hotel

Lovely hotel great private off road secure car park. Nothing is to much for the staff very helpful and polite. They even assisted with our request to stay an additional night before the one we had booked.

I visited the Hotel for a reunion, the staff were excellent and ensured that all the older guests were looked after with exceptional care, the staff in general were excellent and nothing too much bother.I found that the first room I had was just too high to get to, being afraid of heights but the reception soon adjusted this and moved my room to a more appropriate place. On reading the current reviews from below I was near a taxi rank but could only hear this if I had the window open, and yes Derby was playing football at home and still nothing, I was surprised to hear that little infact found it really relaxing.Roll on next year I'm back, no debate but booked in already!!

We stay here every yr for an Army reunion. The staff are awesome and it has a bar, so whats not to love. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and clean and not overly expensive. The breakfast has improved a lot this yr and is plentiful

Rooms were very clean,staff were lovely especially Jenny. Breakfast had a great choice. Down side was the noise from outside as the room was above a taxi rank and opposite the station so it was noisy through the night.But would definitely stay there again.

First room allocated was much too small. Asked in morning for a larger room if possible as we were staying for 5 nights. No trouble at all. Much larger room with wardrobe etc. Very warm. Good breakfast. Would return any time.

It is what it is!!! Fine for what I needed it for, which was really a bed to sleep in. Initial decor on entrance good, a little shabby behind closed doors. However, the staff were brilliant and for the price, I wasn't going to complain. The room I had, had the road outside so a bit noisy.

Staff was helpful and the room was ok .. although the carpet had seen better days .. bathroom was nice and warm and the warm towel rail was a most welcoming… breakfast was as nice and hot but the presentation wasn’t the best especially tinned tomatoes that let the breakfast down!

There is only one reason this review can’t be 5 stars is because of the pricing between hotel and online. The advert for the hotel direct says it’s cheaper to go direct.I was offered a price of £90 at hotel reception - and then £77 online which the hotel reception said they would match.Naturally I was happy with that, but it clearly wasn’t the cheapest direct.
