Wow . Had tapas here and we could have been in any of the best tapas bars in Spain (where we should have been coincidentally!). Service came with a smile which always starts the evening off well - and BYOB means you can choose with ease what drinks to enjoy. We had 9 dishes, all of which were superb, including the fried chorizo, meatballs, patatas bravas and the prawn special and steak special - but best of all was the calamari. There are few places which cook squid well, but to fry it so delicately, and keep the tenderness and flavour was absolutely flawless, you simply cannot get better.Oh and do have both the sweet & the savoury tapas sharers for afters, they're great! If I could give the Terrace a 6 star rating I would - and the fact it appears as an unassuming cafe by day makes it all the better when you discover it is such a culinary gem. We came on a recommendation, and you absolutely should go visit on ours!

Good location. The facilities were good , clean and comfortable. The food , when it finally arrived was excellent...really let down by the slow service.Couple of suggestions:-If clients are made to wait anything longer then 25 mins for food then offer a complimentary coffee or tea.Make clients aware that if sitting outside and it's cold that you have blankets for use?Invest in x8 air fryers ? You could have x8 full English breakfasts cooking at once and quickly? The young person doing the clearing up needs a tray ... so they can pick lots of stuff up at once and always having something going in both directions ?The clearer asked if we'd finished so she could tidy up even before we had received our breakfast? Putting an order no." Spoon etc on the table would tell everyone they are still waiting?Overall the food was excellent

I would like to give a review of the breakfasts but I can't! We waited nearly 20 mins and our order still hadn't been taken. I underatood from another table that there was only 1 chef on, but this shouldn't have prevented our order from at least being taken. At no point did we receive an apology for the wait, so we just left. By reading the other review re. breakfast, sound like we had a lucky escape! The 2 stars is because the setting was nice.

Booked a table for tapas night and wasn't disappointed. The food and service was first class. Take your own wine and pay the corkage fee.

We tried The Terrace for breakfast and I have to be honest we wouldn't return again. When we ordered 3 x Noahs breakfasts, we asked if one could have toast instead of fried bread, and was told no because the waitress wouldn't dare ask the kitchen! I could understand if they were busy but it wasn't.When the breakfasts arrived the fried bread had been deep fried and for far too long and was just a brick of fat, the sausages were a strange texture and not nice, the bacon tasted nice but was very fatty, fine if the fat was crispy but it wasn't. The sauces provided were cheap and runny.Overall did not rate the breakfast, felt it was expensive for what it was.

Ate here on 2 nights when staying in Hunstanton. We weren't aware it was BYO alcohol but no problem as we could nip to shop within couple of minutes. Steak night was good with lots of choices and Tapas night even better. Service was a little slow but not a problem for us. Would definitely recommend. Open all day as cafe too.

Went here for coffee and toast for two. We were given two small packets of butter and one very poor quality sachet of marmalade , hardly enough to cover one slice of toast let alone two. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time, staff friendly enough, service OK, however when I complained about our breakfast I was met with indifference, no offer of a reduction on our £14:80 bill just a you should have asked

We went to the Terrace for Sunday lunch in October 2023. Food was outstanding as well as a service, they have live music on, which was absolutely brilliant. Would recommend the terrace to anyone. Lee and Mo.
