Loved the beautiful gardens, not a lot to see but a fab place for a picnic. We were met by one of the guides that gave us enough information about the gardens. Only a small car park.

Beautiful water garden. The picnic area is also very sweet.I visited alone as I would not trust my young son near the canals. It was truly lovely.A great place to stop in on your way elsewhere (We live in Gloucester so I stopped in to walk around on my way to the Forest of Dean).NB: I got in for ‘free’ with my NT membership. Had I paid the prices documented on the website, I would of been very disappointed. It does not have the same level of facilities as other paying National Trust properties.

Very nice place to visit, tickets are cheap enough, dog friendly, you can buy fish food and feed them ,there is quite loads of them.

Westbury Court is not your usual kind of NT garden. The Court was demolished many years ago and the website makes it very clear, there is limited parking here. So be prepared to park parallel to the main road by the railings, like we did.We visited these gardens on the way home from a staycation in the Forest of Dean. Westbury makes the perfect stopover for a picnic lunch or even to break up a car journey to stretch your legs.Fabulous Dutch water gardens and canals, with very hungry fish for the children to feed. I enjoyed admiring the fruit trees and vegetables that are grown here, especially the heritage varieties and climbing up the Tall Pavillion for the views. The staff here run a little shop from a decorated shed, that takes admissions, serves hot and cold drinks and are full of information on the site.If you have time to spare, please do collect a map and go and climb Garden Cliff and see the horseshoe bend in the River Severn. It was worth it just for the views!

I loved these Dutch water gardens. The flowers were beautiful and the walk around was really lovely. Their was a champion tree in the grounds! The car park isn't massive so pays to go before it gets to busy. The staff were really lovely and knowledgeable. There's a walk in the area that's worth doing so you can see the local church. You can buy drinks in the little shack and theirs a toilet on site.

Thoroughly loved this place. It's not your typical National Trust place, but a simply beautiful garden with two large formal ponds. Sadly the rest of the estate has disappeared over last 100 years - but the place is beautiful and tranquil, the large carp in the pond are great entertainment too.

Beautiful place to visit locally to me. Gardens well maintained. Historical information in the tower building as you enter. Small amount of parking onsite but a large layby by the wall of the gardens close to the entrance. Not a large place so couldn't spend a whole day here. Local walks close by to the cliff edge and the cemetery is close by.

Wonderfully kept, a pleasant place to walk round, stare at the fish and if you bring one grab a picnic. Go inside the old church grounds to see the wild flowers and admire the fantastic views. Car park gets full rather quickly.

Small gardens, well maintained. Toilets but no shop. Teas available from reception. It doesn’t take long to walk around the gardens but you can extend your visit by taking a walk around the village from the car park using a self guided trail (laminated guide available to loan from reception).Limited car parking on site. Picnic tables available.
