The Westbourne House

A SHAME !!!!did not go there ... I booked a room in this hotel to stay there for 3 nights with my children including 1 baby. the room i booked i can't stay there because there is a very strong smell of humidity and i have a child with asthma so it's not possible for us. I exceptionally requested a refund so I could rent elsewhere but they refused even with a fee. It is truly shameful and inhuman.

Absoutely disgusting.was accused of stealing the bedding without any proof then took 50 pound from my account to compensate for the crime which wasn't even proven.

We had no idea when booking that there was no private shower only a communal one.The private toilet we had was filthy, the toilet seat wasn't attached and the previous guest had left us stains as a gift in it and urine over the seat.There were stains on the wall that looked like blood.Breakfast was a let down as we found a long black hair in our food, rather than replace the food entirely (I am an qualified chef) which is basic food hygiene etiquette they simply removed the hair and placed the food back on a new cold plate and gave it back to us like it was new. I had sliced into the food before hand so I could tell it was the same when it came back.The TV remote wouldn't connect to the TV and the 'Sea View' was a lovely view of the back of other run down hotels.Also the cups hadn't been cleaned so we refrained from using the brew making facilities.Over all Faulty Towers would have been better.

Wow I can't even believe the weekend from HELL at The Westbourne House! And also do NOT appreciate the lady on the phone telling me to 'f off' for expressing my concerns...Bed sheets with stains on and not fresh, Hotel stunk, Bathroom disgustingly unclean, Young lady was nice at the hotel but never to be seen, Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Avoid it's beyond disgusting. The woman I spoke to on the phone has the most vile customer service I have seen.

Have just come back from 1.night stay. Booked 2 rooms the family room had shared bathroom which wasn't clean, toilet disgusting.no toiletries. Double room no toiletries in shower room, no bathmat, no glasses for water, shortage of towels and no spoons for tea and coffee. Little pots of milk were on the turn.Bed was not too bad. Thought breakfast was included in price, wasn't.

Absolutely lovely staff, couldn’t have been anymore helpful and friendly.Accommodated to everything we asked for- ended up staying another night as we loved it there (came as a family).Very clean, breakfast spot on, rooms were perfect.Highly recommend.

Yes you can’t really moan for the competitive price you pay. Central location, shower was powerful. You get tv and coffee and sink basin. It is what it is.

amazing staff, amazing (ish) rooms. Rooms werent the best cup of tea but we needed a place to stay! Location wise - Roads - 1/10 (not hotel fault) but from our room we had some splendid views!
