Lam's Chinese Takeaway
We had a Lams takeaway for the first time at the weekend.We have found our new favourite.I'm quite particular about the style of Chinese I like and Lam's apparently hits the spot.The fried rice is light and golden, not heavy and brown.The satay is sweet and peppery, it's not heavily peanut based like alot of places.The prawn crackers are crispy, fresh and white, not a faded brown in colour.Will try some different dishes next time perhaps. But was very happy with the first visit.

First time here, on my brother’s recommendation. The food was really fresh tasting, fantastic light egg fried rice, sweet and sour sauce was exactly that (some can be too sweet, this had chunks of veg and pineapple), salt sgd pepper chicken and chow mein delicious too. Lady owner so very friendly too. Now my go-to takeaway. An easy 5 stars.

Really friendly staff, food is always hot and cooked properly, never had a problem in 4 years, clean premises great service excellent food what more could you ask for. Only downfall is no deliveries but doesn't affect myself being a local.

We pre-ordered a take away which was ready exactly when they said it would be. Sadly, the quality of the food wasn’t as good. We ordered a portion of spring rolls which were advertised as two vegetable spring rolls. We actually got six very small, flat spring rolls which had hardly any filling at all, barely any! The chicken in black bean sauce was ok as was the special fried rice but not great. A portion of chips and a bag of not fresh prawn crackers brought the bill to £18.50 - not bad but I would’ve paid more for better food.There are three Chinese take aways in the village so the competition is strong.

My 16 year old us VERY fussy and Rachel has always been spot on chatting with him! He loves going here above any other chippys/ Chinese.To be fair best food in adlington for a take out

I've had food from here for years and have never once had an issue or problem. It's always been high quality, with decently sized portions and good value for money.I would personally recommend the chicken satay and the salt and pepper spare ribs. They are delicious
