Escape Reading

We did the blow away experience which we really enjoyed! Emma gave us the clues at the perfect times so we didn’t get too frustrated with the game! Emma made the experience amazing. Thank you so much Emma!

Brilliant experience today doing Ram Raid! Our team was aged 10-46 and we all had a fab time. Our guide, Owen, was excellent, and we are now booked and hooked for more!

We completed the Blown Away room, and had an absolute blast! A great challenge for the three of us, and Emma and Skamantha were da bomb! Emma’s flair as a presenter/guide 100% set us up with a fun and excited vibe from the get-go, would follow her advice to save the Reading Underground any day. 10/10, would diffuse a bomb there again :)

Of the dozens of rooms I've done, (mostly brand/franchises,) the independent ones are the best. This independent 5 room, 2 venue company is the best of them all, it's amazing! Lots of humour, the hosts look after you. The Vampire game I played was full of jump scares and had my adrenaline going for an hour! 10/10 best escape room I've done yet. I'll be going back to complete the other 4.

Me and my partner just done the Vampire Slayer room and it was absolutely amazing. Our host was Matt M and from the beginning he was brilliant. He played the character so well giving us our mission. At the beginning we were so rubbish but luckily Matt gave us really good clues to help us along and once we were into it, it made a lot more sense. The room was thrilling, like literally made me scream with fear and made my partner jump a few times as well. Towards the end the intensity increased a lot to the point we were panicking and on edge but we managed to crack it with only 40 seconds to spare! We will definitely be back 100% to try the other rooms after how amazing the staff were. Thank you for making our experience exhilarating Matt!

We have not long left the escape room here. We did the blown away one. It was great fun. Emma, our host was great with her timing for the odd clue we needed. We achieved a time of 52mins 48 seconds. This was a birthday treat, but we won’t wait for another birthday to go again. We were made really welcome as escape room virgins and I can’t thank Emma enough. If you are thinking about doing an escape room do not hesitate and just do it.

A group of 4 of us visited here for a 40th birthday celebration. We took part in the Vampire Slayers room and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were great and the room was very well done. A nice mix of puzzle types, nothing too complicated, with fantastic ambience and fun interactions from the game manager. The scary" version is a good choice if someone in your group reacts well to jump scares! A beginner to intermediate experienced group will enjoy this specific room."

We’ve done 3 of these guys’ rooms now and they have all been excellent. Attentive helpful staff really do know the games, and the best way to help if you get a bit stuck. Why are you still reading the reviews? Go and book your escape now!

It was great! This was my first time of being in an escape room and it was good fun. They sure made it realistic and hard with all the puzzles and challenges that we had to solve before we could escape. Good thing our captor was stuck in traffic for an extra 3mins at it gave us the time we needed to make it out :)I was having so much fun thinking back - how could I forget to mention the staff?! They were very friendly and fun. Special shout out to Jay who was in charge of our group :)
