Excellent range of top quality paints and fabrics.

Good selection of paint brands but poor customer service and manner. Told that they don't sell inferior paints - just paint that takes 3 coats rather than the standard two. So many other better shops and online providers not charging anywhere near as much. Will not be using again.Thank you for your response. It is unfortunate that I missed out the excellent customer service known far and wide in Essex. I can only go by my own two visits and the past experience of my clients. I find that client feedback is essential as opposed to self glorifying reviews.I am happy to take your advice to try other establishments and will pass on your advice to my current and future clients.

A long overdue review for Julie and her team.We came across her shop on a Google search and are so glad we did.Walked in with a kitchen tile and Julie immediately gave us two options (Little Greene) for the cabinets by just looking at the tile.She came to our house and showed us colours that we never knew existed.Julie has a gift of walking into a room and knowing what will look brilliant.We were sometimes pushed out of our comfort zone but I am happy that she gently did!She was also accommodating when our decorators would run out of paint at very short notice.Thanks to Julie, our house is now a home - and the only drama is on the walls!

The lady in the shop was extremely condescending and unhelpful when enquiring about various paints for new house project - I received better service going direct with Farrow & Ball and Little Greene

I really like this lovely individual shop. Always found the staff helpful and knowledgeable. I think you get what you pay for - Little Greene paint is amazing - don't be put off by one bad review.

I’ve used this shop several times over the years, from the previous owner, to the current, and they’ve both been equally as helpful and extremely knowledgeable.The current owner takes so much time and effort to help you choose colours and wallpaper; even if she knows you’re only going in for one tin.We all have a budget, so I’ll buy Little Greene when I can afford it, and when I can’t, I’ll use Valspar from B&Q which is half the price. However, LG is far superior. You get what you pay for.
