Abbey House Vets in Kippax

Had my dog here since was a puppy with no problems, the older he got the more awkward his vet visits where. Was paying consultation fees to go and not get what we where paying for. Seemed as if every vet was too scared of him, even though on his notes it shows ‘excited at the vets’. My dog has never growled, snarled, showed his teeth or gone for anyone ever. We have a dog walker and a professional trainer who can vouch for my dog.The last vet visit i had some rude comments about what collar he was wearing (which helps him not pull) but put aside these comments to prioritise my dogs health. Its now come to light a vet has wrote on my dogs notes he has bit someone?? Never been informed of this, or shed any light on this. Been with him every visit and again, my dog would never do that.Now vets want him in a muzzle for no apparent reason which is outrageous. My dog is a XL bully and has been 100% discriminated against, ive had huskys, pugs in my life and never been made to feel this way at a vets. So disappointed and hurt by this unfair treatment. Its a scary comment to have on a xl’s history and is worrying for a owner.Hopefully this can get resolved

All staff have been amazing for both our dog and cat over the last year. So friendly and considerate whilst we unfortunately had to have both put to sleep after cancer diagnosis. Huge thank you to everyone!

The care and understanding our pet received was brilliant the staff go that extra mile to make sure everyone is catered for.

A great team. There's always a friendly welcome and, when I've had difficult times with ilness or death of an animal they've been able to help right away. Parking isn't brilliant but I've always been able to get a space across the road.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always feel like Albie (the dog) is getting the best care

Same has any Vets not cheap.,but necessary good service though.

The receptionist and vet were both very kind and professional, we had a friendly greeting as soon as we walked into the building and the vet was so caring and gentle with our puppy. Very pleased with the overall service and conditions of the practice.
