Southfields Veterinary Surgery

Very, very impressed with our visit to Southfields.. having changed veterinary practices, this was our first time seeing the vet with our German Shepherd & and Chihuahua Cross.. Daniel was absolutely amazing with Cooper our Timid German shepherd. He's very fearful of the vets, and our last vet would muzzle him as a precaution as he would bark a lot.Not Daniel, he spent TIME reassuring Cooper, got on the floor with him played tug-of-war with a toy, threw a ball for him and gave him treats, wanting to gain his trust..when he bought out his stethoscope he let Cooper sniff it,but Cooper barked and hid behind my husband...Daniel suggested we take Cooper away from the treatment room so he would feel less threatened..we went outside the practice where Cooper was able to relax, and let Daniel examine him..no muzzle was needed. The care Daniel took was very impressive, such a kind and caring man, really had Coopers best interest at heart..I'm so blown away I apologise for the long review.. so glad we decided to change our vets to Southfields..I will be recommending to my friends and family and as I'm a dog walker by trade my customers too.. thankyou Daniel you are a star!

Wouldn't euthanise a dying fox as was scared of 'risks involved'. Will be reporting them to RCVS for refusing to prevent unnecessary suffering.

Excellent advice and excellent communication with the receptionist, she really went above and beyond to help. Snowy is a rescue dog and gets scared easily. This was her 1st ever visit to the vets, and the vet was amazing with her whilst explaining everything to me. I have already advised 2 friends to change vets after yesterday's appointment. Extremely happy and thr medication worked. Definitely 10 out of 10

A fantastic practice - both professional AND personal. Our dog has been wonderfully cared for over many years. This expert team is thoroughly trustworthy, and so caring. The practice runs very efficiently and the team are always extremely welcoming, reassuring and utterly supportive. We recommend them wholeheartedly!

Small practice but I have never failed to be offered an appointment. Provided excellent care to my cat when he was very poorly as a kitten during COVID times. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We could not be happier with the care our dog has received at Southfields. We have met four of the vets and lots of other staff over the last few months and they are all incredibly kind, caring and knowledgeable.

I dealt with 6 different staff at Southfields and all were fantastic. Initially, l was very worried about my cat when I brought her in and they showed understanding and a real love of animals. I can't recommend them enough! Thank you Southfields

Amazing Staff. Definitely would recommend. The Vet Hannah was absolutely brilliant in handling My Kittens especially the Kitten that was so shy and timid. Hannah made her feel so comfortable and relaxed. I was so anxious taking her as I did not know how this Kitten would react. Amazing. Brilliant all Staff

I transferred my 16 year old cairn terrier to this practice this week and am already very satisfied with the care and attention that has been given to her. . I was given an on the day appointment with a choice of time. The reception staff were fantastic . The vet Bradley addressed all my concerns regarding my dogs health and took the time to explain all options available for her care . I left feeling I have full confidence in this practice . Would recommend highly .

Amazing practice, I’ve been bringing my pets to them for 5+ years and every time I appreciated their outstanding communication and compassion. A particular shoutout to Jackson who handled my nonstop questions with patience and knowledge. Can’t recommend them enough!
