Pagets is a local instantiation, a local buildera merchants who know their stuff and tell it how it is. Their display of building materials such as atone and decking is well thought out and lets you choose the right material for your project. Very covid safe and friendly professional counter staff. Its a treat to visit, so much more personal than the big DIY shops.

Pagets have a wide range of stock at reasonable prices. The website is, however, dreadful and in response to a previous review, Pagets acknowledged this and said that their strength is in personal contact. This simply isn't good enough - many, many people 'shop' on the internet to view products and prices and many, many companies have great websites which allow you to do this. Sadly, this is not the case with Pagets website. The poor website loses a star. Most staff are very helpful & friendly but I recently came in to buy some concrete paving (600mm x 600mm x 50mm) and weighing some 45kg each. The guy who fetched the paving on a forklift was grumpy and left me to struggle lifting the paving slabs by myself and loading them into the boot of my car. A shame because this experience also loses a star. Thankfully most of the staff are completely different. If you want some material and can't find it on the website, a quick email detailing your requirements results in a swift and detailed quotation. Come on Pagets, update that dreadful website and join the 21st Century.

Came in Wednesday, 11am, ordered and paid for 100 riven paving slabs, 2 bulk sand and 15 bags of cement, delivered same day at 2pm, how's that for Excellent service, very helpful friendly staff, thank you

I cannot commend these guys and gals(had a lovely lady serve me today)enough.Help and manner of these people is outstanding.There service top notch.I had wood delivered sat morning first thing. Long story but I received the wrong wood, within 2 hours it was collected and the correct wood delivered. What can I say, thank you is the very least.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I need to say how amazing Pagets have been with supplying materials for my patio project. Every time I called them the phone was answered quickly and politely. Service was outstanding and prices are good. Delivery guy was great and placed the items with care and precision. We’ve moved onto a new housing estate and have recommended at least 4 neighbours so far.Thanks again

Great service, staff on the phone were friendly and helpful, and the driver Mark was a great guy. Went out of his way to drop our supplies exactly where we needed! Great to support a local business too!

It is great to have a place like this available. Building supplies at very reasonable prices, and delivery for large items. These are my go-to suppliers for any building project now. They seem to have everything I need, and not needing to hire a van for transport is such a help.I do wish they could integrate their stock system and website, because this would save them having to answer all my time consuming questions about product specs and prices. But, if they're ok with this manual arrangement then I am. Doesn't really matter, their prices are cheaper than most other suppliers anyway.
