For over 18 months I have been having to put up with Anti Social Behaviour from one of Brighter Futures Service Users, that lives in the flat above me. He plays loud Punk Rock music at anytime during the day or night. He also smokes high strength Cannabis without tobacco, which leads to him having psychotic episodes, where he bangs and crashes around his flat, which remember, is above my flat. I tried mediation, with the Service User and have even helped him out on a couple of occasions but he has thrown all of that back in my face. He has even made a utilimatum to me, that if I don’t allow him to play his loud punk rock music from 9am to 5pm hours, he with play his music Full Blast from 7am to 11 pm. I have written a formal complaint letter to Brighter Futures but they have not even written back with a letter of receipt, which is illegal. I have spoken to Brighter Futures on the telephone on numerous occasions to complain, however, the Services Users Case Workers attitude, at the moment, is that they cannot do anything about the Anti Social Behaviour, because of their Covid-19 policy. It has got to the stage now where I have been prescribed anti depressants for anxiety & depression and I cannot remember the last time I had a good nights sleep. I am a self employed home owner, but have no family to support me. I am currently looking for temporary accommodation.UPDATE: 25/02/22The following is a further complaint to Brighter Futures about their tenant:COMPLAINT: NOISE NUISANCE & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOURAGAINST: (Name & Address Redacted)To Whom It May ConcernFurther to my complaint letter, dated 12/10/22, Noise Nuisance still continues and the Anti-Social Behaviour, has only worsened:07/02/22Three Negative Reviews left on my Google Business Listing, all of a similar nature, one of which, had the name “(Name Redacted)”, as the reviewer. Additionally, a note was left on a Notice Board in (Address Redacted) Building, with the same wording. I have kept the note, print outs & screen shots as evidence of Harassment and reported the matter to Staffordshire Police: Incident No.: (Redacted), Crime No: (Redacted).21/02/22I awoke at 4am to the sound of furniture being thrown around, coming from the flat above, until 6am. Reported to Staffordshire Police: Incident No.: (Redacted)23/02/22(Name Redacted) squared up to me twice, in (Address Redacted), Courtyard, outside the Post Room. I dialled 999, to report the incident. Two Officers from Staffordshire Police attended. Incident No.: (Redacted).I look forward to a more prompt response from yourselves, than I have previously!Regards,MR PAUL BERRY

For months we have had problems with the woman who lives above us. Brighter futures have housed someone who doesn't want to be helped. We have had the police round more than 4 times 1 of those times being assault as she poured boiling hot water out of her top floor window at my partner. She has had her friends try to steal the motorcycles and has managed to damage one to the point it will now fail its MOT. In one altercation she turned around and said she didn't do crack she does heroin. She constantly drug deals out of her flat and has drugs lying. I have been on to brighter futures a numerous amount of times and been in twice nothing has happened. Been told we will let you know but haven't heard anything in ages. Last straw was last night when she had her music blasting so we couldn't sleep. We are two hardworking people who pay taxes and work for a living while that woman upstairs gets everything handed to her on a plate. Disgrace on you brighter futures.
