Alastair took some pictures at my Sons nursery and online they looked good, but the ordering system seemed confusing.He replied to an email query and explained the ordering to me, but the pictures from the photoshoot had been removedI then had problems getting hold of Alastair to resolve the situation with the phone not being answered, I also left messages to call me back and sent more emails without success, after almost giving up I made one last call which was answered, Alastair then immediately resolved the issue and the quality of the pictures was excellent.Had it not been for my issues and below par comms it would be a 5* review.

Alastair is always fantastic to work with, I have used him for my family and business needs for a few years now.He is really committed to his work and has excellent eye for detail. Friendly and patient too! Totally recommended!

Alastair photographed our Wedding back in September. He is so friendly yet professional and just helped make the day so special by capturing the most amazing photographs all the way from me getting ready very early in the morning, to the evening. The quality of the photographs are exceptional, I was blown away. Would highly recommend Alastair.

Over the years I have not been that keen on studio work. That is partly because I don't find the typical studio owner to be particularly personable (that's the polite version). Alastair is very much the exception. He is fun to work with, takes time to explain (nicely) and is open to ideas, which with me I accept can be a challenge sometimes. His group shoots are great fun and he has assembled a cast of regulars who work well together without any equipment one-upmanship. I do a 2.5 hour round trip after work to take part - so that says it all.

I attended a one to one photography training session with Alastair at his studio and it was nothing short of an awesome day! Alastair was full of technical lighting tips and tricks as well as advanced lighting setups using mixed gel colours. He chose a very reliable, experienced and stunning model to work with which really helped create stunning images for my portfolio. Thank you Alastair, highly recommended photographer :)

I spent 2 days with Alastair last week, learning how to use my camera in fully Manual mode, and how to use Photoshop. 2 days tailored to my particular requirements. Alastair is a charming, friendly and extremely helpful teacher - repeating things until you understand etc. I am hoping to take more courses later on!

I have done many workshops and shoots at Alastair studio, Alastair is always there, willing to give his support and expertise.The studio is well equipped with everything you need, Alastair always there to lend a helping hand if needed, 5 stars in my rating, thanks again Alastair for all your support and help always appreciated.Andrew Warden.

Alastair was the photographer at my daughter's wedding last May and the photos he took from the evening before and the whole of the wedding day, from getting ready to the evening reception were incredible. This made it extremely difficult when choosing the ones we wanted for our wedding album due to the excellent quality and diversity of the shots. Our album, which was exceptional, was a perfect keepsake of the day.
