Purchased this Ford RS Focus October 2019Gwent Sales tell me it had been fully corrosion proofed underneath and that both rear quarters had been replace.Car came with more or less a full MOTOver the next 13 months drove the car 1254 miles.Sent the car for Pre MOT November 2020See the photos to see what they found.Although surface rust is not a failure holes are but then again it may not have been there when the car was mot'd approx 13 months ago at point of sale.The dealer felt that the comment made to my post had to be reaffirmed by a letter from Lawgisitcs". I have attached a copy of what you may expect in terms of aftersales from this dealer."

had an appointment for a test drive, no one showed up and the person who had booked it wouldn't answer their phone. Never even bothered to get in touch to offer an explanation.

some joke with this seller. I waited a week for the car to be done and I was assured that the car was 100% operational. unfortunately I was disappointed. the car should not pass the Mot in this condition. waste of time for and money.

If you intend to visit and buy a car from this garage then please don't. We had the most horrendous experience from beginning to end-The staff don't have a clue about customer serviceThe valet should be sackedThe lies and excuses they made about the car and the delivery were ridiculousThe car was filthy on delivery and they said they didn't realise...it was actually driven to us so unless you are blind then you have to be dishonestWe never received an MOT certificateNo V5No warranty documentThey had emptied the boot of the spare wheel and all equipment and we waited 7 weeks for them to replace itWithin the first week we had to buy a new battery. The original was faulty and there was no bracket holding it in placeDon't expect them to call you, you'll need to do all the chasingWhat an absolute shambles this business is. Take your money somewhere else and don't get treated badly like we did!

Recently my daughter bought a Nissan juke of these guys as a previous review I've since read after viewing the car it had a few niggles dodgy door handle, no parcel shelf and as this car has nospare wheel it should have a tyre repair kit (fluid and pump) it had no pump I paid the deposit and arranged to pick the car up the following week. When we collected the car nothing had been done and was told the guy who does the repairs was really busy so we would have to wait until he was free eventually after a few weeks had the handle done a was given an old parcel shelf still no pump the handle repair was a botched job which has broken again no clips with the parcel shelf which I had to sort out myself and even after texting the guy I still had no reply about the pump which I had to replace myself £11000 might not be much to some people but a single girl trying to pay a mortgage as well is a lot to her personally I would never recommend this garage to anyone if you've got any sense look elsewhere

I have to say the moment I stepped into the showroom, the owner was very welcoming. Due to the current situation with COVID all precautions were taken promptly. Nathan the owner of Gwent motor company was absolutely helpful and went through all the workings of the vehicle I purchased. He was very truthful and the car I purchased is all that I expected. Nathan went out of his way to make sure that all was well with the car beforehand. He kept to his word, and I have to say he definitely knows his vehicles. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would definitely not hesitate to use this company again for a vehicle in the future, or recommend to friends and family. The service I received exceeded my expectations and outstanding customer service.

I'd definitely recommend this company and even better they do a delivery service, so the car you want is brought to your door without any hassle. Nathan is easy to deal with and has been happy to help with all queries before and after the sale. He's been at the end of the phone each time I've needed him. Will be happy to buy from him again in the future.

Bought a zafira off Nathan at riverside . He was an amazing honest guy the car was amazing too , I will be buying off him again . I highly recommend buying off riverside the service was the best no messing about I give 11 out of 10

AVOID. Where to begin. Upon inspecting a vehicle before placing a deposit down an agreement was made between myself and the dealers to fix a few faults with the car (no wing mirror and few other bits). Paid deposit, on the day of collection which was a Friday, NONE of the work that was promised was carried (except for a cheap tip-ex standard cover up on the paintwork) the boy who handed me the keys to the car was more interested in attending a stag do and took off before handing me any paperwork (didn’t even wait to take a payment and had the valet take the payment from me) was unable to tax the car for the weekend as wasn’t handed new keeper green slip. Had contacted the boy who arranged to meet me on the Sunday at the car sales for paperwork, never showed up, didn’t even answer phone. at that point had owned the car for 3 days before being able to drive the car I just bought. Showed up at the dealership on the Monday to finally receive new keeper green slip to have the boy tell me he didn’t show up to meet me on the Sunday or answer his phone due to being hungover (great customer service there) Have been back and forth several times while under the standard dealership warranty with faults they were unable to rectify (had to go out of my own way to buy a diagnostic tool to read the faults) at the point of this they refused to fix these faults as the dealership warranty had run out. Been in contact a few months ago via their Facebook page to ask them if they have sent off for a new log book as is their responsibility, that was at 4 months of owning the car and no paperwork in my name. Tax is up on the car now and unable to tax it as I have to wait for a new log book to arrive in my name, so I have a car I cannot drive. Had nothing but trouble, spend your money elsewhere instead of with these clowns.
