Worst college experience ive ever had. Been doing a CIPD people practice course since October 2022. Handed in our assignments on February 2023, today received feedback and the resubmissions need to be done in the next 3 hours. Wouldnt recommend this college to anyone

I went here a number of years ago as part of a motor vehicle apprenticeship, the days in lessons were good but the support was awful, no help or assistance from the tutors when I had issues with the company I was working for. Only ever had 1 visit to the garage throughout the entirety of my course. Wouldn’t recommend.

I don't believe this college has improved since I went there in 2015. Check the Ofsted reports - I believe Cirencester College is better. My experience of two courses here tells me that rich students do well here and poor students do not. If you do well here at this college it is in spite of the college and not because of it.

Gloucestershire College apprenticeship scheme is great, lovely staff. Although, the college doesn’t accommodate for apprentices visiting the campus. No learning space provided even when I phoned up!

Student mentor team is great, admissions team not so much and very confusing and misleading when applying for courses, course wasn’t for me (not due to the college or lecturer) so decided to go elsewhere, could do with and update in places and feels verybland and outdated.

Terrible college, half the teachers have no idea what they are doing and don’t care whether you pass or not, never explain anything and just hand you a lump of work, awful support for students, had 6 different teachers in one year, had teachers try and force you to apply for university and implied that your life would be ruined if you choose not to, lost my bursary multiple times due to buses not showing up or being incredibly late and then got told i should walk an hour into college every morning if i don’t want to lose it. Units weren’t spread out and we were given like 4 assignments days apart from eachother. Save yourself the trouble and apply for any other college, don’t do what i did and waste two years of your life.

Save yourself the trouble and don't go to this college, Appalling support for students and are more concerned about their money they get from the government then their students wellbeing and mental health. They'd rather get rid of a student then try to support them through their mental health struggles. Disgusting. Shame on the head of the school Debbie Woodward extremely incompetent and does not care about any student.

No parking for students here, and the closest car park is £6 a day which on a student budget is a lot. The college itself is ok could do with entry into the far end of the college, whereas if you leave via the far end exit, you have to go all the way back to the main entrance and go to your room the long way! Quite a nice outside area for lunch or smoking, but it's much better to go over the river and there's a really nice square with plenty of seating and cafes and shops

Beautifully laid out, accessible clean campus.

The location is quite convenient, and easy to get to from outside of Gloucester. It is also located right next to the iconic Gloucester docks, as well as the queys, so you can spend breaks productively. The building is nice too, well maintained, and cared for, the new Cyber rooms they have are also pleasant, and very high tech. The reception and library staff are very nice, along with the teacher I was able to meet. The only criticism I have towards the school at the moment is student parking, as the site doesn't really provide it, so parking would have to be done elsewhere.Apparently this campus is becoming carbon neutral which is a positive about the site!
