Relax in a comfortable guest room with WiFi, an LCD TV, a coffeemaker, and 24-hour room service. A little fridge was one thing that was missing. I would have given them five stars if they had a refrigerator. They have an indoor pool as well as a sauna. The restaurant is quite good, as is the bar. The housekeeping and restaurant staffs are excellent.

No disabled parking space available all full with cars with no blue badges.I also contacted before arrival we had walking difficult and reiterate on arrival. Room was on ground floor but a very long walk away at the back of the hotel.Room was cold notified desk with no resolve. This hotel is not suitable for disabled guests.

Hadn’t stayed at any Double Tree before - I was extremely impressed by this one.For a motorway hotel it felt almost luxurious.Breakfast was EXCELLENT for all tastes. I like a big traditional buffet fry-up and was not disappointed. My wife made great use of DIY granola station and veggie fry-up options. It’s not a great “holiday” location but that’s not what it’s for. We travelled down from Yorkshire for a hospital appointment early the following morning and this hotel was in a perfect location for that sort of trip.I imagine perfect for business travel and conferences etc.It had a pool and a gym all included in a reasonable overnight rate, though I can’t speak to those as we didn’t have time to use them or even see them.Next time I need a short-stay motorway hotel I will definitely look for a Double Tree first rather than premier inn or others.

I've stayed here a few times and always very happy. It is perfect if you work in Ansty business park. It is not walkable from the station and it is right by a busy road and huge roundabout so you can't go walking outside. The best thing is the service, incredibly friendly and helpful people - better than many five star resorts!Rooms are comfy, dark and quietBreakfast is very good with lots of optionsDinner menu is good and service is usually fastThere is a small gym with basic equipment and a pool with sauna (note men and women share)

Great hotel.on entering the hotel its light spacious and had a lovely smell. We got a free warm cookie, great with a cup of tea.Beverly on reception makes this hotel great.I have never had such a warm friendly welcome in a hotel ever (and stayed in a lot) she is a total asset to the hotel. It was my first stay in this hotel in the area and will not consider any others for future trips to the area.Breakfast was really nice and plenty choice.Didn’t eat any other meals this time but from the menu there looked plenty choice and decent prices. All of the staff I encountered were lovely, polite and helpful. The room was nice and spacious as well as the bathroom. Plenty teabags and milk, which you don’t always get, and a clean kettle. My only complaint was quite a creaky bed, however the mattress, and bedding was very comfortable.I never heard a single door bang throughout my stay and it was deadly quiet overnight, so got a good sleep.Massive TV in the room which was tuned in, as other hotels are often not.The bin in the room had a recycling compartment which is a really good idea as i had a few bottles etc. so nice to see.Sockets and usb either side of the bed, lots of lights, opening windows, a desk and a table in the room and mini toiletries which smell lovely.Lots of good things in this hotel, personally don’t think you can beat a doubletree.

Stayed here whilst attending an exhibition locally. Check-in was nice, quick, and easy. The rooms are very dated and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. I had some lovely people having a domestic at 2am outside my room which kept me away.I used the facilities but couldn’t go for a swim as the pool was full, was snake to have a steam and sauna. The restaurant for was lovely but the breakfast was dry and bland.Checkout was fun as the lady didn’t listen to what I was telling her. Just said “aha” clearly wasn’t interested in how my stay was.

Handy location to break a journey near the M6.Good sized room. Adequately clean, though a little worn. Very gloomy, with the only overhead lights by the door and in the bathroom, so relying on lamps.Comfortable bed. The shower held its temperature well, and had a reasonable strength. Nice towels.OK room temperature. Didn't try to change it, so can't speak about the cooling or heating effectiveness, other than to say it is very loud indeed on high and even on low speeds, the rumble reminds me of sleeping in the bowls of a ship. It is possible to switch it off all together, though, but this then leaves the sound of a distant rumble from the bathroom, that never ceases, plus the low level traffic noise. The person on the front desk was cheerful and pleasant, though she did insist on telling me every detail about breakfast despite my attempting to stop her twice and insisting that I did not want breakfast. The big letdown for the hotel is its stinginess and lack of amenities.I had a deluxe king room. The hilton's own app lists features that were not in existence, including cable TV, and details about the bathroom features, Peter Thomas Roth products, and complimentaryrefreshments. The only thing that seems to make it deluxe is the provision of 4 coffee pods. There was only terrestrial TV, no bathrobe, no fridge, nothing special about the room at all. In fairness, I only chose to upgrade because all the regular rooms available had adjoining doors, which I dislike, and it did fulfil this requirement. It also did have plenty of well positioned power points, which I appreciate. There were the usual tiny bottles of toiletries, which I generally like, but they had only provided 1 bottle of each. I mainly travel alone, but usually get 2 bottles of each, which works for me because I have long hair and find the single shampoos and conditioners inadequate. Not here though. Just the one of each. Luckily, I brought my own.Making you pay £6 for parking at a hotel that seems only practicabaly reachable by car, and which charges £138 per night at discounted rates also seems overly penny pinching. The biggest disappointment is the gym, which is not open at night or in the early morning. I had intended to be there now, but can't be. Only open 06:00-22:00 weekdays and 07:00-21:00 weekends. I had expected the pool would not be accessible, but I had hoped to use the gym.In short, it does the job of providing a place for a night's sleep, and washing facilities, but nothing more.

Lovely and clean room, the size was big enough for me. The bed was comfortable to sleep in making me have a good night sleep. The location is not bad and it has ample parking. A bit confusing when exiting though. Enjoyed the drinks at the bar. Ordered an espresso martini (eneded up giving a friend, not a coffee person wonder why i got it in the 1st place) and the an old classic cocktail (preferred this) . Only thing is before ordering anything from the bar, you have to put in a credit of £50 under your room and then go to the bar to get what you want. At check out, they say you will receive the amount yet to be used. Its been 4 days now, still waiting to get back my balance.

Everything was great...except the air con. Low" fan speed to be quiet didn't work so I was just too warm! Also for some reason the bathroom seems to be a conduit to all sources of noise! You can hear others at all hours using their bathroom.."

Great hotel with nice reception area for drinks or to chill and people watch. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Big thank you to the duty Manager that made us and our four legged friend (pet dog) feel so welcome. Check in staff member forgot the cookies until mentioned. If anything could do with improving it would just be to maybe refurbish the rooms and pool area. There’s a Tesco Extra, Cinema, Bowling Alley and lots of fast food restaurants just across the road if not eating in the hotel restaurant. A great stay though and would highly recommend.
