**Updated Review 17/11/23**Be careful with Mark & Jen - after paying them £114 on 26/10, they never turned up for work & never returned my money. Had reported them to Northumbria Police & made a claim against them through Money Claim Court. Stay away from them.**Updated Review 06/11/23**Things have taken an Unexpected turn recently. After paying Mark £114 in advance (3wks ago) per his request to buy materials for another small job, Handylads4u were unable to answer my repeated calls/texts to their 3 mobile numbers promptly.Handylads4u have not replied to their email they provided and haven't been able to turn up for the small job rearranged twice. When I finally got hold of Jen she said they both were still unwell. Let's hope I can finally have my paid long-overdue vinyl bathroom floor laid again soon.Original Review 05/10/23Mark and Jen did a great job fixing my fallen bedroom curtain rail so it was strongly in place again. They were also responsive with messaging and kept me up to date on their arrival time - will be calling them for more work again.

Today we had our beds assembled by Mark & Jen who really did an amazing job.They accommodated us in a very short time and did a perfect job despite of the missing parts from the retailer however, Mark and Jen went an extra mile, spent extra time and put all their effort to put our beds in a perfect shape and they even took away the packaging boxes!They are very professional, polite and kept us informed throughout the process. Very punctual, talented, hard worker, take care about the fine details and their fees is very reasonable.I will definitely use the Handylads4u" again in the future and I highly recommend them - don't take my words for it but try them your selves.We are so happy with their jobs

The team was amazing, great quality work with fantastic customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and they threw in extras too such as cleaning up the silicone work around the windows. Couldn't recommend them enough, well worth their weight in gold. Would definitely use again.

Hired Handylads for shifting household items they took the money and never wanted to come to work. Paid 140 Pounds for nothing. They ask for advance and then do not come for JOB, keep asking for more and more money and never turn up for job. Never ever trust a word they say. Worst worker I have found in Newcastle so far.

I gave a list of job to be done (4 IKEA wardrobe, a small cupboard to be assemble + installing a curtain pole and cutting lower part of 4 doors)and agreed on the price. 10 minutes into the job, he asked me for £10 to buy food for himself! I gave him some foods, a cup of coffee and 3 cup of hot chocolate by end of the day. He also broke a light bulb cover.He partially put the IKEA wardrobes together without shelves and doors got half of what we agreed and promised to come back the other day at 11 am with a friend to finish the job. He didn't appeared by 12:30 and when I called he said he didn't find anyone to help and I need to wait until 15!!. At 15:00 he mentioned that he can come and do part of the IKEA wardrobes but not all and the rest for the full money we agreed! which I denied. Since he received half of the money, I asked him to finish half of the job but he denied and vanished!!Never call such a person. Not a trustable person and not a professional worker. Avoid him.

Very hardworking and resilient worker. I listed a garden job but unfortunately underestimated the task. He not only did a great job but came the next day to finish it up. Will definitely call him for more work

Handylads4u came today to do some odd jobs around the house. Including fixing 3 TV’s to the wall and taking down my bed for new carpets to be fitted then reassembling the bed once carpet was fitted. Mark and his brother arrived on time, were friendly and professional. Cleaned up after themselves and also assisted my hubby with other jobs around the house. Nothing was too much bother. Will be having them back to fit my bath and bath screen as well as a few other bits soon. 5 star service, would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mark and 'Jen' are CRIMINALS. Their Trick is to win your trust with a first small , easy job, so that you will ask them to do a bigger job - they then demand some cash upfront with the excuse to buy 'materials', then they ask for more cash as 'more materials' are needed. Then they disappear. STAY CLEAR FROM THESE REPEATED OFFENDERS - POLICE ARE NOW AFTER THEM
