The Spinney Caravan Park
This is lovely campsite ,so peaceful with wonderful hosts.The site is a five minute walk into the village which has lovely pubs , tea rooms and scattered with independent shops. Thank you Linda and Ted for a fantastic weekend one which will stick long in the memory.

Great place, one of our favourites and so close to the village and nice walks. Owners really nice and friendly and no regimented parking rules.

A basic site that has now become quite expensive. Well situated for walks into Alresford and further afield as there are lots of footpaths in the area. Ideal for visiting the Watercress Line steam railway.

We have visited the spinney about 10 times last year for short breaks and had the best time.Ehu / tap / toilet waste point/ 10 min walk to townKids love it there as well.Play on their scooters. There is a little field out back for the dog to mooch.Park is 5 min stroll with young kids as well!!Really well kept park, lakes down the end of the park with ducks which the kids love feeding. Then a short walk to the town with lots of lovely pubs/ shops / you shops.Thanks again see you this year at some point

Lovely quite site. However, No toilets or washing facilities on site. Great if you have your own facilities

The Spinney Caravan Park
Basic independent campsite on the edge of New Alresford. Very handy for visiting the Watercress Line Heritage Railway. Grass pitches with ehu, water tap, elsan point (no toilets or showers). Sheltered site surrounded by trees. We visited in October and half of the site was in shade and was quite damp. Best to pitch furthest away from the road as our motorhome got stuck on a centra pitch next to the water tap. Fortunately the owners were very friendly and helpful and arranged to have us towed off the grass onto the gravel road way.

The Spinney Caravan Park
Returned now several times and love it. On site services rather spartan (water, electric hookups and chemical disposal) but the site is beautiful, well maintained and surrounded by trees. It is dog friendly with an on site dog walk and a few nice walks off site. This area of Hampshire is lovely as is the local town of Alresford and this site is great for access to the Watercress Railway.

Lovely location, quiet and ideal for a short stroll into town or a longer walk by the river & feed the ducks!Some EHU pitches - no showers or toilets just waste disposal.

Love this little site, basic, well maintained with water, electric and an elsan.Lovely circular walks down by the river, the Watercress Line station, Old fashioned High Street with cafes, pubs,restaurants
