St. Stephen's Church, St. Albans

A lovely church and grounds, open every week day and very friendly people here. You can walk around the whole grounds and there are some pretty flowers and tress here. It is a beautiful church with lovely decoration.

A beautiful church with lovely stained glass and a true sense of peace and tranquility..if God lived anywhere this would be his house.. the most peaceful church around st Alban's and probably in West Hertfordshire ..can't rate it highly enough.

A picture postcard church at the top of St Stephens hill. Beautiful manicured grounds and a carpark to the side. Beware of traffic queues if approaching from Holywell Hill.

My feet were sore. I had arrived on foot from Stanmore cricket club where, a few hours before I had put in a single innings batting left-handed for Patel who had lost a few teeth and some friends in a hit-and-run, God alone knows where or when. I wasn't sure what to do, but I knew I needed to do it sharpish because the battery on my phone was down to 8% and I had an acknowledgement to get in to U.N.C.L.E before what? If you see a churchyard and the gates are open and you need somwhere to rest, go in. In this case, not only were the gates open, but the [BANG!? Patel?] ... was a porch (vestry?) and I went in and lay down in the shade cast from the streetlights cast by doorframe. There I proceeded to load up a video because my phone would soon be switching off, ... to see why I came along this road in the first place, check my review of St Micholas' Church (C of E) in Elstree, if I ever make it, ...

Lovely little church hall. Need to replace light bulbs though. Piano is a joy to play

It is a lovy church lose to St Alban. It offer great community support to lo Al people. The church it self has aspect of medial touch and relic not to be omitted on your visit to St Albans.
