Quick and professional service. Was there to have my car fitted with winter tyres. Its a bit difficult to find the place as its behind another garage and google map takes you to the garage on the main street. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

I rang this garage after pulling off the motorway with smoke coming from the back left wheel. We were pulling a boat up to Loch Fyne for a fishing trip. I phoned Chris who kindly fitted us in to take a look and diagnose he problem. They were very friendly and accommodating and quickly identified and solved the problem, gave us their professional advice and we were quickly on our way again. Would recommend this business.

Seemed helpful but they put 4 tyres on that are much bigger than recommended for the car, didn't have a chance to go back and swap as I'm no longer in the area, so wasted money on it. They're also 4 completely different brands. Don't think its safe, incorrect sized tyres could void insurance if I crashed, and if a tyre bursts my spare would be useless as its a different size. Seems unprofessional. They also mis diagnosed a clutch problem, telling the warranty company it was just worn so I wouldve had to pay for new clutch. Different garage couldn't find anything wrong with the clutch. No receipt was given for £220 of work.

Usual garage was closed so came here when my clutch and gears weren't woring properly. Saw me in immediately, identified the problem, gave a quote for the part and labour and got it fixed the same day. Great garage, honest people and reasonable prices. Even stayed open slightly later for collecting the car at the end of the day when I phoned to say I might be a few minutes late. Highly recommend these guys!

Been using Gateside Garage for a number of years now for mot, services and repairs and for good reason. Chris and his son Matthew are great and both very thorough and knowledgeable. They keep me well informed about what work the car needs doing before they do it and how much it’s going to cost. Prices are fair and work is done as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend them!
