A bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it was a traditional Chinese restaurant which was great to see. None of the westernised dishes, and tried to stay close to their heritage. Really pleasing to see. We opted for the weekday buffet which was a good choice at £20pp. The service was lukewarm. Nothing against it, but it wasn't very friendly or accommodating. Some of our choices were good, but some were pretty awful, like the slivers of potato with chilli. Some of the dishes didn't really suit our tastes, but I'm sure if we ordered the right things, it would be great. That's what was missing for us, decent recommendations for new people not used to traditional Chinese cuisine. I'd give it another go. No parking nearby so it's a long walk from the town centre multistory, or local on street parking

Ordered a takeaway from Panda and spent £55 on a midweek meal for two. The food was cold, sparse, tasteless and the portion sizes ridiculously small. All of the dishes seemed to taste the same.

Worst experience in three yearsJust paid 9pounds for salt and pepper ribs......all I got was about 8grisrly knuckles ....picture was taken after I chucked tendon filled (battered and deep fried?????) To the kerbKnuckle ends of each rib....there were NO actual ribs on this dish .I'm actually off to the golden wok so as to not ruin my Sunday evening.They deep fried the scraps I'd may or not Feed my dog.....who'd eat out of a bin given the chance

I have been their royal customer from beginning. But the recent change of quality is shocking and after I thought to give them another chance, another after another I am giving up.Please see this Kung po Chicken and compare their other Kung Po chicken images here.Their chef turned it into 10x the sweetness and more sweet than sweet and sour chicken.It used to be good so today when I place order I asked chef to put less sugar.And it came with no sugar and no taste at all.The quality is hopeless. I will NOT order or come again. Sorry.

We dove 3/4 hour to check out the food. Very odd experience and the food was extremely bland. The chicken curry was rancid! The only two items we ordered that was basically edible being the satay sauce and the egg fried rice. The spring rolls were bland the spare ribs had a very odd sauce very watery and extremely bland . One tonic water £4.20 and they even gave us a service charge of the same even tho the communication side was diabolical and the food the same.I’d check out the recent reviews they sum up the restaurant nicely. 4/10 and that’s being generous.

The lady who attended to our table wasn't Chinese- she was very helpful and apologised for the very unprofessional behaviour by the Chinese lady who was on duty. She was very rude and unhelpful. The decor of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The food is 2 star quality. Beijing restaurant in Addlestone offers far better food quality. Definitely won't be eating here again - complete waste of time.

We went to this place because of friend's birthday. It turned out to be a complete mistake. There was a plastic chip in our grill fish and the waitress was not apologetic at all. The waitress does not speak good English nor Chinese. We don't know how to communicate. The taste of food is not authentic also, very oily but bland. The final bill is averaged over 30 pounds per person but we are not really full. Avoid!!!

Came here with family for a birthday meal last night, we were all so impressed! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, not greasy or bland, very reasonably priced and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!!

This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.

Have been visiting several times, but they got new menu recently. Really love the fish dish with noodles. Staff are really friendly and willing to help. Great service and food overall, highly recommend.
