It was a nice location inside the town but the service was awful. The bar man was so rude to me and my family, as a paying customer I expect something better. Maybe a smile or a conversation. We weren’t welcome at all just because we aren’t locals. He was so distasteful towards us even tho we help pay his wage?! Wouldn’t recommend if you wanna feel comfortable in a pub and area you’re not familiar with. The only thing he did do was pour the pint right.

Only went in for a drink staff very polite and friendly. Good atmosphere.

the owner of this pub- who's hairline happens to be receding quite rapidl, is a sad man- wish I could say he was smart with his rude remarks however he must've lost that momentum pretty early in life. the only redeeming quality I have to say about this owner is the amount of effort heputs in to his foul demeanour-wouldn't come back for all the badly poured pints in the world

Excellent weekend pub. I visit only occasionally (maybe once a year) and I've used the accommodation.Pub features decent food, well cooked and good portion size. Beer is well kept and is usual range plus local casks. Friendly place and you can expect to be included in chat if you wish. Live music Mondays.Accommodation is clean and reasonably basic. Comfortable and accessible through its own door without need to enter pub. Very well priced for the area and centrally located. Official parking garage about 5 mins walk away although if you're lucky you can get street outside.Would use again.

Lots of clean benches to sit on. They give a good view of Falmouth, the Harbour and of Flushing which is on the opposite side of the bay.

Proper pub , the owner was very welcoming and made sure the beer was cold and fireplace kept going. A good stopover for a pint and few more whist walking through the city. Another must visit when in Falmouth.

A proper pub, friendly staff, £4.90 for a pint of Thatchers and a really nice atmosphere. Lots of sports available on the TV and there was a whole list of live entertainment coming up. It's a great little sanctuary in Falmouth to get away from the overpriced places aimed at the tourists.

We stayed here for two nights as a birthday surprise from my wife.Beth welcomed us and Dave, the landlord, was welcoming and a great bloke. The location was spot on, right in heart of the town with a sea view of The Prince of Wales pier from our room. The accommodation is 5 minutes walk from the bus terminus. Everything was clean and in good decor and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10, we shall definitely be back in the future.Highly recommended!Remember this is a seaside location so do expect the gulls to be noisy!

We arrived when the pub was open and the owner told us we were too late to check in. Not sure how that works as was open when we got there and no sign saying we had to check in at a certain time. Did seem like a little child tho. Maybe he hasn’t been fed.
