£15 for the par 3 and it looks like this. Personally would not recommend at all. Tee box was like hitting off concrete. Greens have weeds growing through them. Poor for the money

Slow play very slow. Allowing at leased 2 five balls on one half. I used to play here all the time but I'm afraid it may be the last. Grounds keeper's do a good job. Lack of staff the 19th hole and cafe are gone. Sad to see it going down the pan

Very poor course, played a few times and everything s I play it gets worse!!!Fairways are as long as the rough! Fairways that have been cut the grass cuttings are left! For £25 on a weekend really is not worth it avoid playing here you’ll be dissatisfied with the up keep of greens and bunkers fairways and the over crowded tee boxes worse course in Essex by far

Desperately poor uncut course the fairways where longer then the rough areas of most normal courses, literally played 5 holes and lost 6 balls, all of them hit down the fairway. Lots off accessCut grass laying on already long fair ways is not ideal, I won’t even mention the greens. I recommend not even bothering trying to play golf here.

Very poor standard, rating of two stars because they did start to cut the grass as we neared the end of the round.I don’t think I’ve ever lost a ball in the middle of a fairway but I did here today. The grass was too long and had masses of white clover. The greens were very poor quality with weeds and the sand in many of the bunkers was hard.On the plus side there are some stunning views but the course really needs some TLC.It has got a lovely clubhouse, driving range and a par 3 course that looks totally different to the main course.

A long Open Link style course at 6274yds off the yellow. Due to the openness of the course any wind feels a lot more. We had a 15mph wind it feels a lot more.Fairways are open and lush with no real hazards on the 1st9. On the 2nd 9 lateral hedges and water come into play. Some blind holes over hills with a marker poles. Dog leg right holes 3rd & 5th. With this in mind course management comes into play?Greens a bit bubbly but overall pretty good apart from 13th.Bunkers were poor and hard very little sand.Sadly no practise nets. Small Putting green next to the 1st. There is a Driving range.Club house had friendly staff. Did not see a Pro Shop. Hot drinks out of a machine and the Bar was closed? Also you can’t book a tee time you turn up and join the queue. We were lucky we were behind a single and 4 ball and waited 20 minutes.Overall a good course worth visit. £14 midweek.

This course is good value for money. I also like the pay and play style. The greens are massively improved. And the grass seems to be kept better than it was previously. But not as well as most courses. The greens are particularly slow. The course itself is enjoyable to play. After long spells of heavy rain this course still plays well. The clubhouse is still a bit dated. But overall this course seems much nicer to play than previously.

Wonderfull par 3 course which caters for all levels of golfer and has an interesting layout. 9 hole fees available circa 4 hours before nightfall. Back 9 is more interesting than the front nine but combined you have holes rangeing from 62 to 200 yards but most are circa 120 ish

We played on the 18 hole par 3 course, good selection of holes the longest being 200yds. Can be a bit exposed if windy but that can add to the challenge, greens could be improved but overall good practice for your short game.
