It's a very nice experience to get familiar with rare species of animals for both children and adults. Worth visiting it.

We loved our visit. Small zoo, perfect size for my two year old to walk around. There is still plenty to see and do. Nice park and picnic area. Be careful of trip hazards on the footpaths, tree roots everywhere

Free parking. Cafeteria, kids play area , new picnic area near the carpark, toilets and suitable for wheelchair users . There is benches as you are visiting their lovely animals if you fancy a sit down too.

Linton Zoo
Plenty parking space.Good-sized zoo. Lots of animals to see. All nicely spaced out to explore. Very informative and clear signs. Lots of bench to rest around the zoo.Small cafe with a few seats. Serves hot food and drink. Also a picnic area provided with seatings and a decent children play area.Friendly staff with petting session and sink nearby, also with clean toilets.

Small but interesting zoo, you get to know a lot about extinct and endangered species and how to help preserve them. Nature is lovely and u can support their work by purchasing a cute stuffed animal from the cafeteria.

We went last saturday got there 1015am no booking online was first in, carpark and toilet faclities very good..got inside the zoo and sadly we had gone round in 45 mins alot of the enclosures were very overgrown so couldnt see some of the birds.....saw the snow leopards and the tiger and 3 lions which was nice to see.went back to the car for lunch had another wonder round left approx 1pm....could do we a few trees cutting back as quite dark for the animals tho obviously shade good in summer....we use to go often as a child and with our first daughter but quite a decline since we last went....few years back...gift shop was jist a few bits in the window and u could order a limited menu but eat outside.....it didnt entice you to spend and the zoo looks like it needs some money to spark it up again it was a lovely zoo yrs gone but still nice tho a little tired round the edges....we travelled 2.5hrs to get there so quite a drive for a short visit

Great zoo, would highly recommend a visit. Its not very big but still has lots of animals including some very rare and exotic ones. It takes a couple hours to get round. Unfortunately, a lot of the viewing windows were very dirty and unable to see through.

I visited here with my elderly disabled mother. She needs support with her mobility. There is NO free entry for carers so the cost was £27. You could get in to Colchester or London Zoo for this amount, and they are obviously bigger and better. There are very few toilets. The pathways are a bit rough in places due to tree roots, so make it a bit tricky for people with mobility issues. This zoo is very small, you could easily see everything in 90 minutes without rushing.I have to agree with some of the other reviews, the enclosures for the big cats seem tiny. The giant tortoises seemed to have more space. On a positive note the animals do seem to be well cared for. When we visited the cafe area was closed and they were only serving drink and food outside.Would I return? No. Would I recommend it to a friend? Overall it was a pleasant enough experience but there are better/cheaper options so probably no.

What a perfect little zoo. The animals were very content and I took a wheelchair user around the park and it was reasonably easy. A few tree roots made it difficult but not impossible. If there was any niggle it was the quality of the teabags in their tea!!!
