Unfortunately when I sought an exchange for faulty footwear sold in this store, I was denied by Blacks despite the purchase evidence I presented to them. I expected a lot better from this establishment which previously I respected to a high degree. They have let me down and I will not be shopping at this chain again.

Was 2 go there 4 the dpd pick up and my parcel went missing they said that i picked them up but got as good a alibi at the time it was picked up so inquiries incoming

Great selection for all outdoor activities, with very helpful and friendly staff. Had one return which was quickly and effortlessly dealt with by staff.

Was looking for a cosy jacket for the colder mornings Black's have a big variety of outdoor wear from Adults to kids was pleasantly surprised at the price of jacket I bought which is nice and cosy and 2 hats really nice helpful staff let you browse but was on hand if you wanted to ask about the jackets

Arrived to collect an online order, only to find it had been returned 5 days before the 14 day collection deadline (I was there on day 10). The sales assistant's attitude only made the situation worse, telling me I was too late, until challenged on the dates. Throughout the exchange there was no apology and they refused to make any efforts to call their returns people to establish whether the items could be retrieved. Quite possibly one of the worst shopping experiences I've had. Now awaiting a response from their customer care team.

If I could give a zero stars I definitely would! In September 2020 I bought a North Face down jacket at Blacks Aberdeen, I wore it three times in total when the down insulation started to leak through the fabric abnormally.I have been asked to send it back to Blacks return centre which I did at the beginning of December. At the beginning of January I have contacted Blacks about my jacket, and been informed that they have it and will issue my refund. Everything was fine till then. I have been advised that Refund Team will contact me in the next days to take my card details to transfer my money back. I waited a week, obviously with no return till now. I have contacted them again, and been asked to give them more time... Today I have been contacted by two separate people from Blacks asking me for a return receipt, so they can tak a look at the Refund process.Seriously Blacks? I have sent you a faulty jacket nearly two months ago, till now I don't have a jacket or my money back, and you are going to the point from the beginning of January? I was patient, seriously, but that's enough!Will going to contact Citizen Advice Bureau to get this sorted!Seriously avoid if your can.

Very helpful staff. Went in f6some new ice grips for my boots. Only about £20 and they really do help you walk in icy conditions without slipping and falling.They sell very nice clothing and gear for all weathers.Also dog friendly shop. They have some water and biscuits for your dogs.
