I booked a table on Sunday, we went there and a lady told us by the door that is no family with kids allowed at the weekend. I was really angry for that because it didn't show on the webside. I'm really disappointed with this place. Who can eat there with school age kids on weekdays??????

Waited 40 mins for starters despite it being quiet in restaurant. Ordered cheesy garlic but only received a sprinkle of cheese on the garlic bread. No steak available, sizzling chicken only one available despite being a new advertised menu item. When the server was told about the bread he made no apology but threw his hand out to take the food back. Went up to order pudding around 8:00pm and was informed that the kitchen would probably say no to cooking anything and then told the pudding wanted was unavailable. There was one host who made us feel welcome and had a joke with us but apart from that not a very enjoyable visit. First time family visit here and wanted a nice local pub/restaurant but unfortunately won’t be returning.

Lovely place for a drink, had a great time here. Shout out to Poppy for being a fab server, very welcoming and great chat. Would definitely recommend!

One of the best sizzling pubs I've been to.The outside doesn't look the best if I'm honest but inside feels like an American sports bar or something.The food was great & came out quickThe guy behind the bar with the glasses on (didn't catch his name) was super friendly.Only slight thing that took one star off the atmosphere was the sound of the snooker tables and slightly rowdy men towards the end of our stay. I wouldn't suggest going late in the evening if this bothers you too.

The place was lovely,and the meal we had was nice, but when we went to order our dessert we were told we would have to wait an hour for it,I believe that is unacceptable, considering I had booked the table and it was my son's 21st birthday celebration,so was left quite disappointed,I think what needs changing is that they shouldn't take bookings for food if they can't provide it within an acceptable time

Just stopped off for a few beers as I hadn't been in before and wanted to check it out incase I wanted to return with either family or friends. So it was a mid day visit and I wasn't in there for food so can't review anything regarding that but the atmosphere was good and seemed inviting and the bar man was kind and very chaty which I find to be a good start. Lots of TV's and more then 3 pool table but can't say how much in total as i wasn't really counting. Will definitely be back to try the food menu probably on a Sunday with family

I've been coming for years and it never disappoints. Food is always delicious, the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are great. Sports all around, and I would recommend to anyone.
