Kennedy's Garage

I took my vehicle to this garage to have it checked over after hearing alarming noises and scraping when driving. The mechanic received me in a friendly and professional manner,listened carefully to my concerns and undertook the necessary investigation before declaring the vehicle safe and thereby relieving my worries before a long drive home! Very impressed with my treatment at this garage..fast, efficient service which created confidence.

I had low tire pressure in one of my tires. Everybody I talked to was very friendly and I was helped immediately, even though they were clearly quite busy. The problem was taken care of promptly and I was on my way after a few minutes! Thank again to the team!

Extremely unhelpful when we were quite stressed after a problem with our car. RAC came out and got us started and advised to drive to Kennedy's to ask about a heat sensor which needed changing as the cooling fan was staying on. RAC said it shouldn't be a problem ordering this as it was only Tuesday and we were on Mull until Saturday and an hour to swap the sensor at most. When we arrived a mechanic was working on an ambulance, I shouted hello 3 times, as there is no reception, he finally came from behind looked at us and went back to work. I shouted again and he reappeared shaking his head, I asked why and he said he couldn't help. I said you don't even know why we are here yet. We explained our situation and he said there was no way they could help as they were too busy and they wouldn't be able to get the sensor from the mainland before Saturday. We have found out that this would have been possible as the RAC advised.Obviously just couldn't be bothered to help. Even if short staffed, surely courtesy and professionalism can be achieved.Tuesday 30th July 2019

Fixed puncture on my motorhome very quickly.

Wouldn't even acknowledge us never mind look at our broken down car. Luckily there are friendlier mechanics elsewhere on Mull.

Really grateful for their help - really quick, efficient service when I had an issue with my exhaust. Saved the end of my holiday and made sure I could get home - thank you!

Excellent service. Repaired puncture quickly while we waited.

The engine of our car broke on vacation on the Isle of Mull and Kennedy‘s garage was the next garage we could get to. They dircetly checked the engine even though it was already half past 6 in the evening and found out what was wrong. Although they did not have the broken part they recommended another garage which could help us. Nothing was charged for about half an hour of service. If we‘re ever back on Mull and have a problem with our car this is where we‘re going!

Possibly one of the last honest mechanics on the planet. Had to stop in while on holiday, dropped what they were doing, helped me on the spot, identified problem and sorted within 15minutes. A true safe haven for visitors. Thank you
