Only had a meal here, nice menu, the food was very good and large portions, It was a Monday night and just the one waitress who worked her socks off, very well done to her it was busy for a Monday night 25 covers.

Food really good value and well presented and above all really tasty and well cooked.Stopped on the off chance,staff really friendly and a lovely country pub overall.We didn't stay the night but will definitely be back

Great little spot, friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating for summer evening drinks. Nice rotation of guest ales. Food is on point. Sandford burger I had was lush. Would definitely come again.

We stayed here to attend a wedding and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast service was superb with tasty bacon plus LOTS of classic breakfast fare, so much so I didn't even notice the missing hash browns until the next day when the honest host confirmed he had just forgotten to serve them. A good place to stay.

Walked in on the spur of the moment ans despite being busy they found us a table. Menu was food and I had the salmon with lemon and parsley sauce with new potatoes and vegetables it was lovely. My partner had the steak and again couldn't fault it

We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding near by. Our room was in the annex and was modern, spacious and clean. The bar in the main building was nicely decorated and well stocked. We had breakfast both mornings cooked to order by the owner which were both delicious (full breakfast on day one and poached eggs on toast day 2). A good choice of options with plenty of toast and juice, tea and coffee.We would definitely return to this venue and recommend it to others.
