Langleigh Guest House
The Langleigh House and Norman as the proprietor (i did not meet Yvette) are the ultimate in a gracious and enjoyable B&B. No detail is overlooked in making the room, the house, the breakfast and everything else simply marvelous. And Norman was so welcoming and quick to seek the comfort of the guests. I've stayed at many places in my life and been in the rental housing business myself as a career. Norman and Yvette and the Langleigh House deserve 6 stars!!

You could not come across 2 nicer hosts than Norman and Yvette also not forgetting the Boys Harry and Charlie. Nothing is a problem the Breakfast is fantastic whatever option is taken. I’m a traditional Full English guy mushrooms almost the size of the plate as well. A wonderful home from home. Will be back again as I believe happens with a lot of guests. Thanks for a nice relaxing stay last week

Langleigh Guest House
Norman, Yvette, Charlie and Harry were wonderful hosts. Very attentive, there to help in any way. The breakfast was great with many Gluten Free options available. We stayed for 3 days for our Hadrians wall hike and Norman pointed us to many great restaurants. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend Langleigh house. Thank you!

A very comfortable stay in a house full of character and characters! Norman and Yvette made us most welcome. We booked dinner which was outstanding and worth every penny and more. Breakfast was also excellent and comprehensive.

Beds super uncomfortable, pillows were like sand bags, mattress springy and old, couple of stains on covers, dressing table without chair so you need to lean over to put makeup on. The cut off time for breakfast is 8:30am it's far too early to eat and it should be extended to at least 11am. The TV was far too small and far away and it's not a smart TV, for £80+ a day it really should be better. It's very old and really outdated, the decor was ugly but the shower was the only redeeming feature. The owners would come into your room without permission or knowledge and make the bed but that's all. Being questioned about my fashion sense alot and why I'm wearing what I'm wearing was uncomfortable. The lady owner was alittle uptight, it was uncomfortable to be forced into alot of conversation when we had things to do. The place definitely could have been cleaner. Dusty and dirty. It was eather too hot or too cold in the rooms. The owners were nice enough though.

Norman and Yvette were wonderful hosts making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The house and our room were beautiful and spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb - thank you.

Langleigh Guest House
Yvette and Norman were so welcoming, we felt at home straight away.The room was lovely and clean and Yvette's bathroom design was brilliant, what a creative and talented lady. The breakfast menu was fantastic and absolutely delicious, wished we had booked a table for dinner.Will definitely be back.Thank you Yvette and Norman for making our first visit to Carlisle such a positive one.Andrea snd Andy

Langleigh Guest House
This was a great place to stay while walking Hadrian's Wall. Very good value, close to the trail, nice light and airy room with wonderful furniture and friendly and welcoming owners. Would definitely recommend for Hadrian's Wall walkers. I also had dinner there in the evening (was very nice not to have to walk any further to find food) which was delicious - one of the owners has worked has a chef for her career!

Langleigh Guest House
Norman and Yvette were warm, almost enchanting hosts. We loved our brief stay with them. They'd frequently pop-in over breakfast to share a story or ask about our needs. Be sure to say hello to Harry & Charlie (lovely dogs) while you're there.
